Perfect stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. We flew overnight from the States and drove from Dubin, so we were extremely tired and arrived late. Eillen greeted us with open arms and was very friendly. The entire staff was so kind during our stay. Our room (the titanic) was just perfect. Tea and treats were provided for us each day. It overlooked the yard and the river. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. The location was also perfect for the Ring of Kerry, Killarney National Park, and Dingle peninsula (our favorite), all within an hour and half drive. The town of Kilarney was just a quick 10 minute drive and offered lots of free parking after 630. We enjoyed dinner and drinks in the town. There are tons of options. My favorite part was breakfast! The portion sizes were huge and filled both my husband and I up until dinner! Oatmeal with Baileys and the poached eggs and sausage were our favorite. Our room was also cleaned every day with fresh towels and the chocolate treats were resuppiled. We would definitely stay here again! It was a lovely start to our trip.

The location was great! Close to town and all amenities and the B and B was perfect as were our hosts.

Beautiful and peaceful B&B with a cheerful and helpful host

Eileen the host was so hospitable and cheerful. The breakfast was served promptly and was delicious. I really enjoyed the lake view while enjoying our meal.

Not in the city center so required a taxi but it was also a benefit to have a quiet place to rest up.

Quaint B&B in a Beautiful Location but not a good winter time option

The hostess (met her hours after checking in) and her son (served breakfast in the morning) were friendly and enjoyable to talk with. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty and filling. The location along the riverbank is beautiful and probably would have been more so in the spring or summer, but we were there in late November. There was plenty of parking available and located outside the bustle of the city and close to the entrance of the national park.

Check in was difficult. Although we arrived in our expected one hour window, no one was there to let us in and we waited outside in the cold for about 20 minutes before the host arrived. He was curt and brief, but showed us to our room. The room was small and did not look like any of the pictures on the website. The bathroom was tiny and the shower doors fell apart, which I had to fix. The heat turned off at some point during the night, so when we woke up in the middle of the night to use the facilities, it was freezing cold. We were the only guests in the B&B that night, so I understand the frugality of not heating the place entirely, but why not roll out the red carpet and give us a better room option. We stayed at 9 places in our 11 nights in Ireland/Northern Ireland and this was one of the two I would not chose again.

Lovely garden and large beds.

The beds were excellent. Large and comfy. There were seats out in the garden overlooking the river. Also in the sun house. There were multiple choices for the excellent breakfasts.

No razor socket in the bathroom. Cleaning lady was servicing the bedrooms too early..

The cost was reasonable for Killarney. We have decided to book there at a later date.

The breakfast was just wonderful. Every taste catered for by two smiling ladies. The location was easy to find The dining room overlooked a lovely river. We would recommend it to everyone we know.

I honestly don't think the owners could improve on their business. We have stayed in a lot of B&B's over the years and it is the best we have ever come across.

If management doesn’t like Booking.com then don’t use them.

Beautiful grounds and location

Complaints from staff that we were staying only one night and that we were paying a lower price and that we had to negotiate for the room we booked.

Superb

Breakfast was fantastic. Great to get to use the summerhouse by the river for drinks in the evening. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely setting on the river Flesk

It was a bit of a walk (20 minutes) into town and we didn't have a car so it was a little inconvenient for dinner since there's no restaurants right near the B&B. They are very weird about trash. There's no eating in the rooms and they don't have trash cans available outside or by the summerhouse and the owner's husband did not seem to want to accommodate any of our trash
