Tried their Zen restaurant which I felt was a bit overhyped

Having lived in Bangalore, we had previously visited The Leela Palace for dining and breakfast, but this was our first time staying overnight—and the experience was nothing short of mesmerizing and nostalgic. While we encountered a minor glitch during room assignment, Mr. Akshay at the front desk handled it swiftly and professionally, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. The property itself is breathtakingly royal and romantic, but it was the exceptional staff that truly elevated our experience to cloud nine. The housekeeping team, led by Mr. Rahen along with Ms. Syllari, Ms. Batriti, and Mr. Arewanki, ensured our room was pristine and wonderfully maintained. Meanwhile, Mr. Mohit as the Executive Butler and his team spoiled us with top-tier pampering in both the lounge and the restaurants. Every single staff member we encountered went above and beyond with their warmth, politeness, and world-class hospitality. Thanks to the whole Leela team, we are already looking forward to our next stay!

The landscape design, palace-inspired aesthetics, and overall visual experience are truly exceptional and deserve commendation. The designers and architects have created a remarkable destination that reflects elegance and grandeur.

I wish to share a constructive observation based on my recent experience, with the intention of supporting continuous improvement. Having stayed previously at The Leela Ambience Convention Center, Delhi, I noticed a distinct difference in service approach. The Delhi property excels in attentiveness, warmth, and proactive guest engagement, creating an immediate sense of welcome and personal care. While The Leela Palace Bengaluru is visually stunning, the service experience felt comparatively reserved. Simple yet meaningful touches—such as consistent guest recognition, warmer engagement, and anticipatory service—could significantly elevate the overall stay and align it more closely with the exceptional standards demonstrated by your Delhi counterpart. Additionally, my suite, though well-designed, felt smaller than expected and lacked a walk-in closet, which is often anticipated at this category of luxury accommodation. This is shared respectfully, as an observation rather than a complaint. I offer these comments with great respect for your team and brand. With focused service training inspired by the exemplary model at The Leela Ambience Convention Center, Delhi, The Leela Palace Bengaluru has the potential to match its extraordinary beauty with an equally extraordinary guest experience.
