The room was small. The bed was against the wall on one side and the shower was very small.

This is a gorgeous, modernised, boutique hotel in the centre of Amsterdam - right on a small canal, within walking distance of the Anne Frank House, Westerkerk and the red light district, if that’s your thing. Betty and Anastasia were most welcoming and helpful. While there is no breakfast provided there is a self serve espresso coffee machine available all day and baked treats in the late afternoon. No lounge but a dining space to make yourself comfortable in - much easier to write your journal at a table! The stairs are narrow and steep - as you would expect in an old house. There is a small lift to upper floors. Lots of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance, breakfast at Moods Coffee Corner highly recommended. Bonus for those waking up there on a Saturday is the weekly market - a mix of fresh food, clothes, garden and secondhand.

It is an old building in old Amsterdam so the architects have done the best they can with the space BUT …. Be prepared for tiny rooms and bathrooms! In a two bed room there is only one small wardrobe, I would not advise a long stay ;o)

All good although would have preferred 5’ bed rather than 4’6” Staff were all charming and helpful. Well positioned with abundant restaurants nearby.

Absolutely amazing staff...really friendly and helpful and the little gift bag we was given on checking out was so cute and thoughtful, coffee machine free to use really nice especially with disposable cups to take out with you, the hotel is really cute and quirky would definitely return 😊 woke up to a market Saturday morning aswell just right outside which was cool

Only negative I have is I wish I would have had a larger room ..we was in small double so will pay bit extra for bigger room next time .. shower was tight

Very friendly staff, hotel is in a quiet residential area, if you do not have heavy luggage, it is at a walkable distance from the Central Station. Value for money.

the room we were in the shower was ridiculously small. I’m a size 10 and I struggled. pillows could do with being better and 2 each.

The location is about a 15 min walk from central. The staff upon check in was excellent. The room wasn’t quite ready but we were provided with coffee and pastries and by the time we came back lunch it was a smooth check in. The room was a good size for a couple, with only drawback being the shower drain is in the middle of the bathroom floor, very annoying. It’s central enough to walk to all the sights but far enough to be quiet time in a Saturday night. Plus the wifi was good enough to watch Netflix on my firestick

The room was perfect. The staff were wonderful, especially Bettina. also loved the hot chocolate and the pastries in the evening. The only thing that may have made it a little better was having additional pillows, but we didn’t ask. I’m sure if we did, it would’ve been taken care of. Also, the proximity of the markets from the hotel on Monday and Saturday were perfect.

Fantastic team of young staff -really helpful and friendly. chic and comfy hotel. Excellent location in the Jordaan-perfect access everywhere. Unlimited coffee and afternoon cakes! Very clean and pretty comfortable for small size. Quiet.

It’s TINY and although it is lovely this needs to be explained - could be a little too intimate for friends travelling together (twin beds almost on top of each other) Also NO BREAKFAST available ( this is wrong on Booking.com) Lots of options for breakfast around but you need to allow for at least another £15 per head per day and everything very expensive at the moment

First of all the team (specially two young very kind ladies at the front desk) was more than great. They were all very helpful and have excellent approach to us. The location is at walking distance to restaurants, pubs and museums.

The hotel was great and staff were very friendly. Great that you can get hot drinks throughout the day to warm you up after a days exploring. Staff were happy to recommend places to eat and the cafe across the road, does a great breakfast. Location is great for restaurants and cafés plus walking distance from station. It also has a good tram link to the museums etc.

The rooms are small but your only sleeping in them plus the quality of the staff far outweigh this. Coffee and tea is available 24/7 and you can eat as many wine gums as you want. As this was our first visit to Amsterdam I can only give my view but as for location it vas excellent for us approx 15 mins steady walk to the Dam Square there are plenty of places to eat nearby and for breakfast the cafe across the road is outstanding
