good location (away from it all), comfortable beds, cozy breakfast area and living rooms.

the bathroom was dirty, the windows in the room as well. breakfast was poor and included rotten fruits.

We paid for a premium lake view room but much of the view was obstructed. I would not define the view as the pictures. We did not have any wifi connection in our room, as promised. We had to use the sitting areas to connect. The hotel needs some general upkeep with rugs, drapes, etc. It has great potential but is a bit worn down. Other guests when coming and going were very noisy banging luggage going up/down steps. We could hear everything. The temperature was very warm while we're were there and they could not turn off the radiator heater, making room way too warm.

Staff was very pleasant and welcoming.

The bed could use a softer mattress.

The location of this hotel is unparalleled, you get a perfect view of Lake Argentina! Waking up every morning to the most glorious sunrise overlooking the lake is something I will always remember. The staff are so helpful and kind, the rooms spacious and warm— with daily housekeeping. This is a gem outside of the town of El Calafate; yes it is a taxi ride away from the center but staying in the tranquil setting beats staying in the town any day!
