Domenica is a real Italian Nona and makes breakfast, fresh coffee and pastries for her guests every morning. We had scrambled eggs, toast, cold cuts, fruits, pastries and coffee. In addition, you have your own fridge, kitchen to cook, and 2 balconies. The bedroom is quite large and the living room/kitchen is also quite spacious. The bathroom is average but has exactly what you need. The air conditioner was also quite strong which is important for my husband for those warm summer days and nights. Easy street parking in front of the appartements. The city is about 10-15 minutes away by foot. And 2 minutes by car. We absolutely loved Cala Ganone, especially our day-trip boat tour with Daymar boat rentals. We would have no problems recommending this place and city to anyone. Don’t expect luxury but expect great value for your money.
Very little negative points to bring up. There are a lot of stairs to go up if your room is on a higher floor. Not an issue for the bottom floor units. Don’t expect your room to be cleaned and towels to be changed during your stay. You’ll need to ask for toilet paper when additional rolls are needed and the washer machine is shared. Again it’s not luxurious but exactly what you need.

We had an amazing stay in Cala Gonone. The apartment was very spacious and the air conditioning worked very well in the bedroom. The host was so kind and welcoming and we had a delicious breakfast. She gave us recommendations for restaurants and places to see. The location is good if you come by car, as parking is very easy. It is a bit of a walk into town, but worth not worrying about the car. The washing machine was perfect as well.
Everything was great! It would be helpful to have drying racks outside for towels and bathing suits.

The  owner/proprietress of B&B was genuinely kind and exceptionally hospitable. She explained local customs, tolerated my so-so Italian, and made sure you had what you needed at breakfast. She even went so far as  sending me items that I had inadvertently left behind. The property is well situated and convenient for activities at the port nearby, hiking, and restaurants and grocery stores in the center of town.

Friendliness of the host, good breakfast. The flat is surprisingly big with all the facilities you can hope for and great views.
I definitely recommend the place.
I wish the flat was slightly closer to the beach. Expect a good 15-20 min downhill walk to reach it.

Friendly owner, large bathroom
Lacks charm and care. Feels like nobody has stared there - strange smell, minimal facilities, beds and sofa are cheap and functional, not cosy, 15 min walk uphill from the centre. Don’t understand the high rating - expected more.

We had a great time staying at the apartment. The breakfast was made fresh every morning with local food. The owner was very friendly, helpful and created a great atmosphere. We can highly recommend the apartments,

Breakfast was really good and the room was very nice with a comfortable bed and good shower. We went hiking and our hostess made lunch boxes for us, which was really nice. There are plenty of beaches and hikes if you are in to doing day tripps.

Well located
We were there in october, it was very cold in the flat:no heating at all.
No pressure in the shower.
A sofa for 2 people but the flat is for 4 people so not comfy

Beautiful view over the bay. Extremely clean, beds comfortable, staff froand welcoming. Parking not a problem at all. Short walk into the town.
Soundproofing was very poor in between the rooms, but ok if you have earplugs.

The hostess was more than friendly and helpful. She lend us an umbrella and a beach bed during our stay. That was very kind.
There is no shuttle service! Despite from whats on booking.com. breakfast €10 per person is somewhat overpriced. Walking to the beach, or the restaurants is a 15min walk, when you go back its upphill.

Good comfortable apartment with your own kitchenette to use. Beautiful garden and views from the apartment. Good soundproofing and air conditioner. Nice water pressure. Very friendly host who give tips about what to do and what to try. She also made some home made baking goods for breakfast!
The stairs to the apartment were quite intense. Perhaps it was a surprise as i did not inform myself before booking. It should be more obvious because for someone with problems they can be quiet problematic. Didn’t know about

The kitchen has all necessary equipment for cooking.
There is a resort next to the apartment which has loud music/entertainment from the late afternoon onwards. The windows are well insulating if closed.

The apartment was clean, modern and included everything we needed. You can also park the car in front of the structure and the location is close to the center so you don’t really need to take the car with you all the time. Personnel was very welcoming and helped us to book a trip for the next day to the Cala Gonone coast. The breakfast is for all, from typical handmade Sardinian pastries made by the owner to salty. I would definitely recommend it.

The apartment was spacious, very elegant and well equipped with nice bathroom. Balcony with clothes dryer. Good location - near the center, near to beaches. The host is very kind, warmhearted and helpful. I definitely would choose this accommodation again.

Great for a family. Apartment stays cool during the day and also has A/C available. Comfortable mattresses. In the evenings you can hear the music from the neighboring hotel, but otherwise it is very quiet. Kitchen is stocked with most essentials you may need (the only thing we were missing was a good knife).
Be prepared to buy paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags etc.

Dominica is an excellent host!!! Very helpful and friendly. The apartment was vary spacious. Superb location. Two balconies in the apartment with either sea or mountain view. Excellent location 👌
If we ever have a chance to visit Sardinia again we we would DEFINITELY rent this property again.

Awesome Location
The HOST is short-tempered and MISBEHAVES if something goes wrong. The AC outlet fills up and overflows out of the balcony. That is not something the guest should be made to worry about. Once it happened she kept on asking when we are going to leave, a way of saying "you are not welcome here anymore". This made us uncomfortable.
She intruded into the room several times at odd hours and got angry if the door is not opened quickly. At checkout she kept on waiting outside showing her impatience even though we checked out before the deadline.

The property and the management are a bit old-fashioned, but the structure is nice and comfortable. In the apartment they provided good internet connection, linen and towels, a kitchen with fridge and all the necessary tools for cooking. It was very nice to find tea, coffee, salt etc. So I didn't have to purchase things I wouldn't have consumed in a few days.
If you don't mind walking, you can easily reach the center or the beaches in 15 minutes. If you arrive by car, you can park outside the building. Bus stops nearby. Supermarket and restaurants available around
The cats should be neutered and kept better. It would be good to have a savory option for breakfast and the possibility to eat earlier
