Excellent location, beautiful surrounding, extremely nice host, cleanness of the rooms and the property. The pool offers nice refreshment.

Very nice buiding, nice pool and garde

No refrigerator in the room, no electric pot, no small towels and no renew soups the day after. Breafast was too basic, no omlet...

Minor detail - could have had an extra towel for the floor as was slippery when wet

The owner adds a personal touch to everything, from the decor of the rooms, to the breakfast and the overall cleaniliness and upkeep of the property. It is located in a fabulous area of the region as well.

Simple clean rooms around a nice pool with rear balcony facing the countryside. The lady owner/manager was very friendly provided a lovely breakfast with homemade jams.

The location is excellent with views over olive groves and distant hills, and nearby Joucas is a gem. There is a lovely pool. But...

The strange thing is that this must have been quite a grand 3 star hotel, but now it is largely empty. Only 4 out of 25 or so rooms were occupied and the quality of the rooms and the breakfast would barely merit 1 star (think hostel rather than hotel). So enjoy it for the setting as we did but don’t expect luxury. Don’t put the address on booking.com into your satnav. It takes you to Gordes. Simply head for Joucas instead. The hotel is just by the village.

The simplicity. The cleanliness. The view. The hospitality. It’s so well situated from other must visit villages. It’s calm and serene away from tourists and crowd. It’s a perfect setting for those wanting to escape from noise pollution and cities.
