nice clean room, great breakfast

location on the quiet side of Jeri and 3 min walk to the beach. family room worked great for the 4 of us. cozy environment and warm people. delicious and plentiful breakfast.

The room was spacious and the people nice. They helped with booking tours. The breakfast was okay but a larger variety of cereals. The pousada has potential but like a lot of things in Brazil it needs a lot of maintenance.

The bathroom for such large bedroom could be bigger. The electric shower is always scary in Brazil. I asked staff to change bedsheets because my toddler licked some wee and it wasn't done. There were nails sticking out on the wood flooring around the poor, one could easily cut their feet there, and there were nails sticking out from tables' feet. The pousada changed management recently and I don't think the new manager lives in Jeri. It feels like a lot of places in Brazil you just do some patch work but no full refurbish work. I complained about the nails sticking out in the pool area and it took them 2 days to bring someone to hammer the nails down (at 7:30am!) and still did not solve the whole problem. I was always on edge letting my children in and out of the pool.

The bed was really comfortable though and the bed sheets were clean. The team were really lovely and helped me find somewhere else to stay, and even arranged transport for me. They even went to lengths to accommodate my vegan and gluten free food requests. The pool area is private and has both protected areas and sun baking areas and had I booked during a quieter time and after the rooms upstairs were finished, I am sure this would have been a lovely stay.

When I arrived the room smelled really musty and damp, so I had to put lavender and citronella oils around the room to freshen it. The other guests and the locals were really noisy, and so I didn't sleep very well at all, The noise of the locals I know wasn't the fault of the pousada, but if you are looking for a quiet place, this is not it. Jericaocao isn't it either. The next morning over breakfast I was met with banging and drilling because the pousada were building extra rooms and hadn't told me when I booked. I had to leave as I needed somewhere quiet to write my next book, and have business meetings. I couldn't hear the ocean, nor could I see it, so if this is important to you from your room then this is not the place to stay. I live my life mainly on the ocean so for me being able to see the ocean and here it from my room is essential.

Prime location. Very close to sunset dune and the main road. The bed was very comfortable, the gardens are well maintained and every afternoon there is fresh coffee available so you can just help yourself. Valentina is a helpful young lady. She gave us valuable tips and she was always friendly.

The breakfast could have been more diverse, otherwise very delicious. We have a little problem with the shower upon arrival but it was resolved promptly
