The house was perfect for us. It wasn’t to far from the beach and had everything we needed. The pool was a nice temperature the entire time we were there. The only problem was the dryer didn’t work, I’m sure they would of fixed it but by the time we realized it was to late in the week. I would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely vacation with our family in spite of the brutal heat. The pool was great. The unit could use some additional items such as a table with an umbrella by the pool, additional items in the kitchen such as a cutting board and better knives. When we arrived 4 of the table lamps had no bulbs. There were no bulbs in the unit so we had to go out and purchase bulbs for the lamps. We reported a leak in the kitchen sink which did not get repaired. We also reported a problem with the front door which was not locking properly.

Affordable and Dog Friendly but Bare Bones. WIFI so slow that we could only read emails in the morning. No streaming possible. They had cable but only local channels. Plenty of room, close to the beach. Was able to bring my dog and got to see all my kids from four states without going to the poor house.

My family had a great time at nauti gulls . Everyone enjoyed the pool and hottub . House was pretty clean except for some dead flies on ground floor. Several windows were broken so couldn't be opened. 2nd floor screen door shock mount has rusted and is broken. Major safety concern to me is the 3rd floor deck handrail felt like if leaned on you'd end up on the concrete driveway. I would recommend the next renovations be to that rail.I would rent again and recommend to friends, but advice to be careful on that deck.

The week at Corolla was wonderful. The personnel at Beach Realty were very responsive and pleasant to deal with. However, the house is in need of general maintenance due to its age. It appears that the new owners are making needed maintenance upgrades, the pool was great, but several actions remain.For example, the refrigerator (ice maker did not work) and dishwasher need to be replaced; the upstairs outside deck has several loose boards in the railing; the downstairs toilet was blocked with visible human waste (unblocked by plumber); overall the house was dirty upon our arrival, etc.

We loved our stay in Outerbanks as we always do, have been coming for the last 20 years! We loved the house and their upgrades this year! The only disappointment was the volleyball court. It was not usable as it was a mess, thorns etc. It needs to be cleaned up and have sand added. Maybe even add a cornhole setup behind it or by the driveway. We loved the pool, the room setup was great! Overall we LOVED it!!

Dangerous ceiling fan missing a blade almost knocked out my wife.Outdoor electric socket hanging out with exposed wiring. Jacuzzi leaking into light fixture below unusable.Stereo doesn't work.Filthy dishes .If this house meets Beach Realty standards then shame on them.This place needs updating and extensive repair before you should rent it.We didn't get what we paid for. Beach R was responsive but renovating this house on my vacation dime (and maybe yours)just isn't right.If l had known before l would have passed on this one .PS : needs paint

We enjoyed our stay at Nauti Gulls. Early October is a great time to visit the area and the house had everything that we needed. We went with the heated pool option, and I am glad that we did. It wasn't too cool out but there were a couple of days that the kids needed to burn off some energy and the water temp was warmer than the air temp. There were plenty of sleeping options and the beach is not far at all. Plenty of cutlery and everything else you need to cook and eat meals.

Great vacation. Home definitely needs updating (kitchen) and a deep clean/power washing. Some furniture (stools, chairs) were actually falling apart. There was also a lack of outdoor furniture (eg, chairs on deck/around pool). Looks like some updating started on first floor...hopefully continues throughout house before continuing to be rented. Great location and lots of room for multiple families.

Our beach week was great. We met up with longtime friends for some fun at the beach. All was great with the exception of a few minor things. The refridgerator/freezer could not keep up. The fridge was barely cold and the freezer definitely didn't freeze. All appliances could use an upgrade. The stove was a challenge to cook on. The burners were not flat. The dishwasher was interesting. When opening the door I thought it was going to fall off. The racks don't slide out very well to load the dishes. The house served its purpose but could definitely use a good "spring" cleaning. I would highly recommend putting blinds in the family room window off the kitchen to keep the hot sun out. The thermostat couldn't keep up. The upper level was very hot during the day but cooled down some at night. The outside of the house has some rotten wood visible. Pool and hot tub were very nice after a long day on the beach. Loved the keyless entry. It made it easy for everyone to come and go as they pleased.

We had a great time, We knew the house was in need of updates but didn’t realize the extent. The kitchen has no handles on any of the cabinets or drawers. The refrigerator has no side rails on the door storage,so putting anything on the door was hazardous. The carpet is very stained. All the beds but one were hard older mattresses. The baths are dated and one toilet ran continues,Which was called in.The volleyball was not usable, disappointing since the picture shows otherwise. The pool and hot tub were incredible! We spent a lot of time in the pool.
We are hoping the house will continue to get the love it needs until then we will look elsewhere next trip.

Nice property with one exception
Nauti Gulls is well located, the pool and hot tub are nice, as are the bedrooms. The major drawback is the kitchen! It is circa 1980s and the refrigerator and stove are horrible. The kitchen badly needs an update (I think it has Formica counters). There was not even a hot pad in the kitchen! The refrigerator is white and not the stainless steel I would expect. Both shelves on the door were missing the rails that keep jars from falling on the floor and, yes, that did happen to us. It is very small and quite inconvenient and I can't believe it has not been replaced. There is another refrigerator on another floor which is even worse! Beware if you enjoy cooking! Other than the kitchen, I really had no complaints.

We has a terrific week in OBX! The house was perfect for our family of nine adults but there would have been room for more. The surrounding area was perfect for walking and riding bike. The house was found exactly as listed with an open floor plan in the main living area. It was clean and ready for our arrival. We did struggle to piece some items together for meal prep but there was enough to make due. The highlight was definitely the pool and the hot tub. The management company was easy to work with and very thorough in their communications. We would definitely return to this property and recommend it to our friends!

Overall stay was enjoyed by all family members. There were some items that need to be addressed for future visits. Appliances outdated and in some cases inoperable (stovetop burner). TV in game room inoperable due to shortage created by crimped wires. Gas grill unusable due extreme rust build-up. A new set of pots and pans and kitchen utensils need to be purchased. Using the third floor jacuzzi tub causes the second floor shower ceiling to flake. Tub is very noisy as well. The heated pool was the best!! Thoroughly enjoyed by all. Kudos for the hot tub as well. The free bagels and cream cheese voucher was a nice touch - keep it going. Good size bedrooms and entertainment spaces made the stay very comfortable. Short walk to the beach was terrific. Overall, we had a great stay. Correcting the deficiencies listed above would greatly improve the experience for all future guests.

There were many positives and negatives about this property in my opinion. First the positives. The property is located in the second road, mid way between 2 walking paths to the beach. One of the walking paths, Herring, leads to a portion of the beach with a life guard stand. The pool area is excellent. The pool clearly was recently put in and was clean and nice. The house, however, is somewhat dated. That being said - 2 of the 4 bathrooms were new and nice. Another issue raised by another reviewer included the safety of the railings on the deck which had been fixed by the time of our stay. Here are some of the negatives - the house was not cleaned well. This has been commented on in previous reviews. My wife had to clean our bathroom with Lysol cleaning wipes and it was clearly very dirty. The management company sent someone to re-clean the next day, but it should have been addressed upon "inspection" of the property. The mattresses in the adult rooms were fine, but the kids rooms were worn and the springs could be felt through them. My children complained they could not sleep well. The common areas for the house felt small for the number of people in the house as we were a party of 13 and the house can even hold more people. There is an outside covered part of the deck on the 3rd floor which had nothing on it and would be a great place to eat outside, but no patio furniture was there. In addition, it was not screened as described. In our opinion the kitchen needed better pots, pans and utensils for cooking. Lastly, just for people to be aware, many of these houses in OBX come with beach chairs/umbrellas. This house did not. With a few updates and better cleaning service, this would be a good place to stay.

Extremely disappointed in the house we rented (Nauti Gulls) Our family is extremely easygoing but for $6000 per week we expect it to be clean. Upon arrival, we walked in and were hit with this foul odor. We got upstairs and it was even worse. Come to find out, the pan in the fridge was full of nasty sludge. We have four little boys under two and it was extremely dangerous to even sit outside on the balcony. Some of the balcony posts were lose and others weren’t even attached. We were also left with broken chairs. The air vents were moldy and dirty; I don’t think the air filters have been changed in months. On the first floor, it appears there was a bug problem because there were bug guts all over the ceiling. There was a vacuum in the house but we had to clean it before we could use it because it didn’t even work. As a former property manager it’s apparent that this home was not walked prior to our visit. In addition to removing the fridge outside to escape the awful smell. My mom mopped the floor where the fridge was because it was go gross. My dad also assisted the lawn person with the mower because it wasn’t working. Needless to say we will not be renting with this company next year and my parents deserve some type of credit for the hassle.

Our family of 5 adults and 10 children had a great week. We were very pleased with the beach house. It was spacious, comfortable, close to the beach and well stocked. The kids played in the pool at the volleyball court and basketball hoop. The Food Lion was close by for groceries. We were pleasantly surprised with a nice gift from the Realty Co:)

Had a party of 8 Fifty somethings traveling in for a wedding. Was happy to find this place renting for 3 nights. Comfortable stay. Wife and I stayed in the master upstairs. Very comfortable bed. The place is a bit dated and in need of some upgrades (i.e. refrigerator). Vball court is too small for an actual game (perhaps intended for children). Description states 3 Kings, but could not find the 3rd. Could use a thorough cleaning. All-in-all, pleased with our stay. Would recommend.
