Lovely staff, very clean and good breakfast

The room was enormous with two great-sized beds and a beautiful bathroom with roll-top bath, which we enjoyed. It also had plenty of radiators which we needed after we and all our belongings got completely soaked in a downpour. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There was free parking, and the location was perfect for us.
The only very slight disappointment was the quality of the food for the amount we paid for it (we ate in the restaurant in the evening). It looked very nice and stylish, but neither of us really enjoyed the meals we chose. But the great things about our stay more than made up for this.

Staff were lovely and friendly, room very comfortable. We travelled with a toddler and at breakfast the host went the extra mile and served us with his breakfast first so he wasn't waiting around stuck in a high chair which was a really lovely touch (and highly appreciated!)

The customer service and cleanliness was first class. We had the junior suite Crimson King which was spacious, immaculate and peaceful and well worth the money. My husband is fussy about his breakfast, but said that during all of our travels this Inn’s breakfast was superb. Thank you so much, we will return.

Good menu for evening meal. Excellent full English breakfast cooked to order in a comfortable room served by a very pleasant member of staff. Room was spacious and comfortable with everything that we needed. Hotel situated on the main road with easy access to get to Cheddar where we needed to be the next morning.
I don't have anything negative to say about The Woodborough. Keep doing what you are doing !!!

Food excellent, staff spot on good choice of ales and a good size food menue and specials board, resturant and bar area all well kept and spotlessly clean big outdoor area to sit out as weather was excellent when we stayed. Bedrooms excellent with massive king size bed also great walk in shower in bathroom.will definitely stay here again on are way down to Cornwall.

Only issue was the shower not working properly which was reported to Staff who said they would deal with it. Otherwise, a perfect stay.
Shower not working properly and room a little cold until Central Heating kicked in about 8pm.

The staff were very welcoming and the room was spotless and spacious for our family. I would stay again in fact booked for New Year and cannot wait to stay again. The breakfast was non fault able and very tasty. Staff could not help enough. Thank you so much for a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
