The only downside was the distance to Sarande’s center, it was at least a 30 min walk

Stunning place, good location and the staff were incredible. The view was unreal and the room was more than comfy! Very nice and quiet pool. Location was good, we had a car so could travel further but plenty of food around if you don’t. Will definitely be back!

Very clean and comfortable and modern. On-site pool, walkable to beach down the hill, short drive to downtown Saranda or Ksamil. Delicious breakfast buffet. Staff were super helpful. Oceanview from the patio.

While we were shown how to use the AC, it came up locked and had a Don't Touch sticker on it. So we slept with the patio door open. Advertised as having a bar, which was a drink cooler in the lobby. But that was also appreciated.

New family run hotel with particular attention to care. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Elda at reception whom promptly showed us around and explained where the local restaurants were and the bus to get to the city center and Ksamil. We were even issued with two key cards so my kids could continued to charge their mobiles during our excursions. Our room had excellent WiFi coverage, a flat screen equipped with an wide array of international channels and also youtube and Netflix! Mini bar with chilled bottles of water was most welcome after our return from Butrint. Not least we had a balcony with a table and a few chairs to witness the sunset with a couple of chilled drinks. There was even a clothes rack for drying our light washing.

Thé pool was fairly small and not deep, more suited to playing. According to my children, breakfast could have been excellent should there have been a wider choice.

We spent a week in Albania with our extended family (and hired 4 rooms here). This was definitely the best hotel. It is family-run and smaller and hence less noise than elsewhere. The location is excellent to visit Butrint and the Blue Eye since it is at the far end of Saranda. The name of the hotel is perfect since we enjoyed magnificent sunsets from our room.

The rooms at the street side are rather noisy due to extensive traffic.

New family hotel with really very friendly staff. The location is fine, a bit out of the city centre, but easily accessible by walk 40 minutes or car/ taxi. Very close to the crossroad to Ksamil and the ring road to the North. The room is thoroughly cleaned every day. The beach is just two minutes down. Big balcony and great views.

The room is a bit tiny if you have big luggage.

Staff was great, swimming pool had a beautiful view and room was clean and nice. Also enjoyed the balcony.

Only thing we missed was an elevator.

Staff was very kind , forthcoming an extremely friendly, always happy to help, breakfast fresh and delicious. Very clean, new little hotel with wonderful sea view, great balcony. Shops and restaurants nearby, quiet area. Nice pool area, great view, very clean. Washing bowl and clothes pegs - and place to hang washing in the balcony. Free parking infront of hotel.

If you want to use the beach you have to pay 1000lek for 2 persons. There are no beach towels or pool towels or deckchairs included on the beach, although these amenities are stated (and there is no mention that this is all at an extra fee). Management was not very helpful when we asked them to please correctly state what is included on the listing, our request was rudely ridiculed with the comment that we are not capable of reading, even though there is no mention of an extra fee for using the beach . Next beach where you can a least sit next to the water is a fair walk off, so nothing you'd like to do with small kids. The pool can only be accessed via the lobby & carpark/main road, something you would definitely not expect of a four star hotel. The family room was nice and ok for us, but definitely not suitable for plus size travellers, as there is one queen size bed and a couch convert to bunk-bed for 4 persons.

The hotel was easily accessible. The facilities are fantastic. The beds are comfortable. It is a new facility and it is kept up well. The staff is incredible friendly and helpful and responsive.

Room was comfortable and clean, receptionist was nice and friendly. All in all, the hotel is not bad, but they lie on Booking and thus are overpriced. It’s just a regular hotel. Bad value for money.

We chose hotel Sole because it promises a (public) beach 50mt from the hotel. The pictures in Booking show a nice beach, which is why we assumed that would be the beach close to the hotel. This is NOT true: the nearest “beach” is a pebbled area, currently not in use as a beach and does not even have an entrance to the water. The closest beach is Mango beach, which is 500mt from the hotel and is also NOT the one showed in the picture on Booking. When we mentioned this at the reception, the hotel denied this and after long discussion we decided we wanted to check-out. The hotel refused to give us a full refund, we only received refund for one of the two nights. After that we checked in to El Primero hotel, which has a beautiful infinity pool and a nice, sandy (private) beach, with extremely good service, for almost the same price!! Strongly recommend to spend your money at El Primero and NOT at hotel Sole.

1. Introduction: The brightly lite Hotel is ideally located along the Saranda Beach. A 3 minute walk down the slope would take you to the pebbled beach (which I did not really enjoy). Parking available at the entrance of the Hotel. 2. Owners: Pretty much run by "Super Women" who work tiressly day & night. Everything from the Reception to Breakfast is prepared by these wonderful trio. Not all may not be well versed with English, but are always at your disposal with a huge smile in their faces. 3. Proximity: Ideal base to visit Gjirokaster (1 & half hour), Butrint (25 minutes), Ksamil Beach (20 minutes), Blue Eye (30 minutes), Corfu Island (Greece) by Ferry & mainland Greece 🇬🇷 (25 minutes to the Border). Night Clubs for Party Enthusiasts are located 15-20 minutes by walk. Plenty of Restaurants around. 4. Room: Booked a Sea facing Family Room with one of the most memorable & wonderful views of the Beach, Riviera & Corfu Island (Greece). A Double Bed was provided for the Couple & a Bunker Bed for the Children. Room is decently sized. Good Quality Toiletries provided 5. Swimming Pool - Decently sized, but pretty crowded 6. Breakfast - Hats off for the wonderful Breakfast provided during our stay. They take special care to arrange the below dishes beautifully. Choice of Bread, Scrambled/Sunny Side Eggs, Crossiant, Chicken Sausages, Cold Meat, Cheese Slices, Butter, Fried Doughs, Pan Cakes, Freshly cut Vegetables & Fruits, Pickled Olives, Home made Jams, Nutella, Custards, Splendid Coffee & Tea

1. The only thing I didn't like was the Balcony in the Hotel is brightly lit in the night. This does not give you any privacy & you cannot enjoy a quite view in the dark 2. Pricy compared to the other Hotels I stayed in Albania 🇦🇱. Possibly because of the location ?

The hotel is super modernised. It is spotlessly clean and right next to the beach. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast had great options.

The location is 5km from the central promenade. As we were only staying for a couple of nights it would have been easier to be closer.
