Nicely situated, neat little apartment
Lovely property, lots of room and well stocked Near lots of shops and cinema
A bit confusing finding it once we found the parking space but nice to get a parking spot. A staircase to climb before getting into the apartment which can be a bit challenging for elderly or disabled

Exceptional
Whitney was a perfect base for our 6 days exploring the Cotswolds. It was near Oxford and within easy driving distance to the many picturesque villages nearby. Our apartment was at the mill/commercial end of Witney, but we were able to walk the historical centre, supermarket, restaurants and pubs. We valued having en site parking. The apartment was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Good for 2 using 1 bedroom, not more.
Clean and well kitted out. Comfy. I was surprised and delighted to find that it is in a historic building, an early steam engine here powered weaving looms. The double glazing works. There was no noise from the main road outside. There is a dedicated parking spot for a car. The neighbours are friendly. Supermarket within walking distance.
Where I live the small bedroom is too small to be a bedroom. A small double bed only just fits. Not acceptable. I thought English local authorities had rules about the minimum size of a bedroom. The flu from the boiler runs inside this "bedroom". I'm not a Gas Safe engineer but it gave me the willies. At the very least I would expect a carbon monoxide alarm in this bedroom. Again I suspect that there are rules about this. Guests might be reassured if they are shown a certificate from the local authority that this room is approved for use as a bedroom with a gas flu running through the room. The only window in this room is a skylight at the top of a shaft through the attic and/or the flat upstairs. There's a long orange pole which I guess can be used to open that skylight, but I was afraid to use it in case I broke the window. Guests might want to think about spending their holiday in a room with a boiler flu and no windows. I survived 2 nights, so it must be safe, right? Booking dot com should ask some serious questions about this property. Particularly about the use the 2nd bedroom as a bedroom. If we had been a couple using only the main bedroom this might be a very different review. In that case I might grumble about the new Nespresso machine. The old model Nespresso made much better coffee. My beef is really only about where I slept. I feared for my health.

Great would definitely stay again
The apartment was excellent. Has everything you could possibly need. Bed was very comfortable.
The traffic did wake us up, but it didn't bother us as we're faily early risers. The other bedroom is much quieter if you fancy a lie in.
