Such a peaceful place… The views are great. The rooms are ample. Neighbors very quiet. A great getaway.

The house was clean and spacious and had a nice view of the lake and the mountains. We noticed a moldy smell in the basement bedrooms. So our guests were not comfortable during their stay in these bedrooms.

No snow but still enjoyed our trip. Beautiful waterfalls, hiking, caverns, parkway kept all ages busy. Great location and very clean even though it was outdated

Townhouse had plenty of room for everyone and was very clean. Nice that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. Perfect spot on Sugar Mountain, convenient to everything.

The Sugar Mountain condo had a great view from the back deck where we would get the day started with a cup of coffee, and end the day with a cold drink. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the furniture was in good shape. Checking in/out was very easy. We would recommend this place and would come back again.

The Sugar Mountain condo had a great view from the back deck where we would get the day started with a cup of coffee, and end the day with a cold drink. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the furniture was in good shape. Checking in/out was very easy. We would recommend this place and would come back again.

This property is at a great location and was enough room with space for 6 people. This house has the views and everything you would need to go nowhere but grocery shop. Was stocked very well. All you need to just relax. We were within minutes to everything even though it was not ski season. Was such a great experience for us. Only issues were on day 2 construction was going on next door that was annoyingly loud and they dropped trash on our patio. You can hear everything down stairs from the middle level and can hear anyone who opens a sliding glass door with in the house and next door even in the middle of the night..and the house was very dusty and with cobwebs everywhere, looks like they hadn't had visitors stay here in a while ..had an old smell. Luckily I clean we travel with our own cleaning tools and refresh everywhere we go. We have allergies and a bit OCD. Other than that, a great stay and hope that you have no neighbors because you will hear everything. The experience was so worth it and would stay again.

Location and property itself are very good. Right at the base of Sugar Mountain - walking distance to skiing, tubing, ice skating. Furniture in good shape, well-supplied kitchen. TV's were tiny for the space (if you want to watch TV in the living room, plan to pull a chair closer to it than the couch) - but we weren't there for TV, so not a huge deal for us.2 stars, explained - When we arrived, we found the condo filthy - a full garbage can in the kitchen, surfaces sprayed with cleaning solution but not wiped (cleaning solution in puddles on surfaces), surfaces that we cleaned ourselves and turned a Clorox wipe dark brown (yuck), and a bedsheet with a large brown stain covering half the sheet (fortunately, we brought our own sheets so we were able to get around this). To their credit, when I complained, Vacasa refunded our cleaning fee. But that level of filth is unacceptable at any time - let alone during a pandemic when you advertise a higher level of clean.Let me say here that this is not our first stay with Vacasa of N. Carolina. A previous stay was marred by a similarly dirty condo, as well as advertised air-conditioning that did not, in fact, exist (it was a hot summer - and we specifically rented the condo because it supposedly had A/C). Because of the lack of A/C, we moved condos midway through, and were promised a refund for nights unused. I have yet to receive the full amount due to us (we received a small partial refund, but were due 6 out of 10 nights reserved). The only reason we stayed with Vacasa again is they have a virtual monopoly on rentals in the area - so choice was limited. Please double-check any amenities that are advertised, especially if they are important to you.

Myself and the kids spent the whole time skiing, while my wife had her mother and grandfather visit and they went sightseeing. Everybody had a good time. The place was very cozy and comfortable with plenty of space for everybody. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything you need prepare and consume meals. Its also right across the street from the lodge so we were able to walk back and forth to ski. I have one suggestion for the owners/managers, guests should be given access to one of the closets out front. There are two, with one of them being marked for owner use only which is fine, but the other one is unable to be unlocked. It would be nice to be able to store ski gear in there instead of having to drag it through the house to the back patio leaving a trail of water and ice behind you than then needs to be cleaned up. One thing to to be wary of if you have smaller children. The water goes from cold to scalding hot in about 0.5 seconds. Was great for me but, I could see issues if you have a child that decides to play with the knob during bath time or something.

We enjoyed staying at this condo for the weekend. It was convenient to skiing and tubing. It was roomy and very nice.

All the kitchen items needed, lots of places to sit and sleep, beds were comfy, and tons of HOT water for everyone to shower and wash clothes. Only complaint is the parking. One of our spots was taken by the neighbors and they ignored us the entire weekend when asked to move it. Other than that we had an awesome week!!

Three king beds, a queen, two twins, a daybed and sofabed with 4 full baths, well stocked kitchen for cooking meals. Three levels gave lots of privacy. On the downside, extremely hot water, easy to get burned as it was advice 180°. Large hot water heater was great for the most part, but ran out after six showers the morning we left. Baseboard heat was a challenge with toddlers and we had to buy baby gates to prevent baby from climbing upstairs. No bathroom is on main living area. Two parking spaces would not accommodate two large pickups; smaller space was ok for SUV. It's very close to tubing and ice skating. Easy walk up to the lodge for skiing. Would definitely consider returning again.
