Profitez de vacances familiales paisibles et relaxantes dans cette belle maison unifamiliale de 6 chambres à coucher et 3 salles de bain avec vue imprenable sur l'océan - Cela pourrait tout aussi bien être en bord de mer. La plage est accessible par un court chemin semi-privé menant à la partie la moins fréquentée de l'île. Vous vous sentirez comme si vous avez votre propre plage privée. La grande pelouse est parfaite pour le badminton, le volley-ball ou le croquet.
Le niveau principal est à l'étage et comprend 4 chambres, 2 salles de bain, une cuisine entièrement équipée, une salle à manger et un salon spacieux qui s'ouvre sur une grande terrasse au bord de l'océan avec de nombreux sièges. Un escalier circulaire mène à la promenade d’une veuve sur le toit pour admirer les couchers de soleil et une vue à 360 degrés. Toutes les chambres ont la télévision par câble.
Le niveau inférieur est un autre espace de vie qui a une salle de séjour avec canapé-lit, 2 chambres et une salle de bain. C'est une escapade parfaite pour les adolescents ou tous ceux qui veulent plus d'intimité. Détendez-vous à l'extérieur sous le porche couvert à l'ombre - faites une sieste ou lisez un livre. The rental was in a great location with a great view, but overall the home could use some TLC. The living area was definitely not clean. There was a whole beach worth of sand underneath the area rug. Because of Hurricane Ian they had to place all of the outdoor furniture in the living room which made the rug askew and wouldn’t lie flat. The rug pad underneath was of no help. It is old and nasty. The rug needs to be replaced. Most importantly, the home was not toddler friendly, which needs to be said in the rental description. The spiral staircase to the basement/garage was not safe for toddlers or the elderly. The spindles are set too wide apart and a toddler can fit through to fall to the basement. We didn’t find the outside staircase to get inside until the next day because of the rain when we arrived. We wanted to switch houses when we arrived because the fridge smelled like fish and the bathrooms are outdated and had a distinctive smell. We were scared for our toddlers safety. When I told them they should advise that the house isn’t safe for kids they asked me is I had asked them if it was kid friendly when I booked the house. No, but we rented a crib through them as well as listed the kids when we booked the house.

The house was beautiful! Beautiful morning views, amazing evenings! This house accommodates! Our family was at max capacity. Beds, liens,towels, dishes, cookware, BULK everything! Our family came from Missouri, Florida, and the Carolinas. Our kids enjoyed having their own living space as well as the adults. Morning coffee on the rooftop evening shell hunting on the beach, volleyball in the yard! Memories made for a life time! Our family started their first family tradition in the beautiful house. We appreciate the accommodations, and amenities. This house does not disappoint at all!

When we booked the house, there were comments referring to the age of the appliances. We were only staying three nights so we thought we didn't need anything extravagant. We arrived at the property to find the kitchen wasn't very clean. We recleaned it ourselves and then cooked dinner for 15 guests. As we finished loading the dishwasher, we realized that the door didn't close all the way, therefore it wouldn't wash the dishes. I called the 24/7 emergency maintenance line and they said they'd have someone out first thing in the morning. No one ever called or came by, so I called two more times and someone finally came at 5pm. He said they knew about the dishwasher being broken and never told us. We also battled an oven that overheated, so we bought paper plates and got take out for the rest of the weekend. Until these issues are fixed and you have confirmed with the real estate company, I would not recommend this property. The location is great and the house has a great outdoor space.

This property is not accurately represented based on the photos. It is in MAJOR need of some upkeep. The bathrooms are in terrible condition with mold, damages, and are just very dirty. It seems as though no one has refurbished this place in the past 20 years. Dead bugs all over the basement level. If it rains, the outside lower patio stays flooded for days so you have to sweep the water away if you want to use the seating area/grill. The air vents seem to have not been cleaned since the place was built from the large clumps of dust coming out of the AC vents. I will never rent from this company again if this is the standard of homes they provide for their $1800/night rentals. You would think the company would vet the house before they offer it up for rent.

Just steps away from the beach, the venue was ideal for our needs. There were enough sleeping accommodations for our guests and plenty of room for drop ins. The view was outstanding. The beautiful stainless steel kitchen appliances were attractive but were worn and in need of attention. Despite this, I would highly recommend this location for a vacation rental.

Bedrooms were updated 2 years ago which made sleeping even better. Would really like for owners to fix bathrooms and kitchen. Need to be cleaned and updated if the cost continues to go up. Otherwise we love our week stay at Place Cottage.

I rented this cottage in 2018 and 2019, and the carpet in master bedroom is still patched (watch your step else fiberglass like fibers will stick in your feet!). Plaster in the master bathroom is peeling off. Kitchen cabinet clutter is rampant and there's an entertainment center crammed full of far too many games, which had to be removed to make room for nonperishable items. Deck furniture is too large, too antiquated and in poor condition. I could go on, but I only allow so much time for a review.

We loved the Place Cottage! It was perfect for my group of 15, with ample space and fantastic amenities. The location really can't be beat. The bathrooms on the top floor could use some work both in terms of aesthetics and to ensure their proper functioning. But honestly, the house had everything needed and then some. We loved our weekend there and would absolutely rent again!

Outdated and Lack of Cleanliness and Basics take the cake
The house is in a great location right by the beach with plenty of places to stay. It’s great for a large group to stay together with plenty of beds.
However, there was an odor that required to ventilate the whole house when we arrived and the floors looked like they had not been vacuumed prior to arriving. Furthermore, the bathrooms had rust accumulating on the shower and faucet which could easily be cleaned by a steel brush, but looked unattended for some time. Finally, it was missing the basics such as multiple rolls of toilet paper, bathroom mats, which pose a slipping risk, and although it was indicated prior, having to rent sheets from the property company or bring your own felt kind of weird.
This place appears to be a rental property with an agency that manages multiple properties so it’s not surprising that it received the bare minimum to keep it in rental condition.,

Great for groups! Beautiful location
This place was great for our large group. We had 20 and it was very comfortable. The porch is huge and great for evenings. The top deck view is incredible. Steps from the beach.

Lousy Hosting
You charged me thousands of dollars and provided no dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, trash bags other than the ones that were in the cans and not a single roll of extra toilet paper!!! How CHEAP!!!

Family house
The house served our family very well. It could have been a bit cleaner but was ok. Rental agent was very quick to respond to our questions and needs. Our stay there helped our family get through a difficult week preparing for and attending the funeral of our mother. We’d definitely would rent the home again for a happier occasion.

This was a great rental home for our family. The upstairs/downstairs arrangements worked out well for us; the little ones occupied the downstairs and the adults, the upstairs. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and being able to see sunsets from the upper deck. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water and the living room allowed lots of people to mingle. We did have to child-proof the interior stairway and be diligent about ensuring the outdoor stairs were blocked when the kids were outside.

We are local to the beach, but took this rental and invited all our children and grandchildren to come back home to us! It was delightful. The beach was great, we felt far away from our work-a-day world, and the setting and facilities gave us our own little corner of family vacation enjoyment with all the features one would desire.....

This was our second year staying at the Place Cottage. We love the house with plenty of bedrooms for the 3 families. The children love the new bunk beds and were so excited all 6 boys could stay in one room. We love the property which is perfect for 9 active children. The best feature is being so close to the ocean. We can't wait to go back next year.
