the property was stunning! trips with mum and nanny. will have to bring my hubby back next time. what a treat to find the hot spots in the lake too! loved the hot hub suggestion: needs a water blast and no slip adhesive on deck (when dry) to avoid being slippery:) Also, I loved the collecting of books and read one while there. thank you

The panoramic views are amazing! It was really quiet and peaceful despite being on the main road. The location was great, close to town for dining etc. The access to the lake and walking path was great. Lots of great restaurants and excellent food in Taupo.

The hottub needs a thermometre, had no idea how hot it was. My husband overheated and passed out falling over the side unconsious cutting his head open. We had to go to hospital - emergency spending some hours there till 2am. Really not ideal. The shutter blinds in the bedrooms were not great - block all the beautiful views and can't be opened, fidly. A few finer touches were lacking - the soap, shampoo, conditioner and hand sanitiser were very budget and not what I would expect at such premium accommodation. A few coffee pods would have been nice to.

really enjoyed the home very clean, very good outcome, happy with all aspect will book again, central heating was perfect for our winter holiday

Great location, well stocked, everything you need

The sunset view is stunning. Big living space and big laundry room. Comfortable beddings. Excellence cleanliness.

Flies... flies... the top hung windows were left open by the staff and we were not aware of it. As such, we checked in with a house full of flies in the evening. Flies on the walls, toilets, bedrooms, on the towels, etc. Quite a terrible evening trying to clear the flies cos the kids were terrified. There is NO aircon in this villa as such the premises can be very humid and warm if the windows were not open. But nevertheless, we did not open the windows cos’ we were afraid of the large amount of flies that will come in.
