Very quiet part of town and basically had the beach to ourselves. The view from the condo/balcony was amazing. Walking distance from a couple restaurants and just steps from the beach. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Just bring coins if you plan to do laundry because quarters are hard to come by in this area. Would most definitely stay here again!

Amazing beach front property with an awesome beach front balcony. Management company was helpful in a variety of ways. Couldn't have asked for a better balcony to watch the waves and sunsets!!! Bed comfortable, large TV's a plus, jack & jill bath helpful for two adults to be able to get ready at the same time.
Now the negatives. Ant's crawling all over the kitchen counter around the window and sink area as well as the floor by the trash...can only imagine what under the counters looked liked. Used the on-site ant spray which killed on contact but had to buy some ant traps to put out for longer term effect. Double florescent bulb over the small sink burnt out. Hole punched in the wall next to the mirror in the same bath area. Sliding screen on back door so rusted out it won't open/close and while attempting to adjust it, it simply comes off in your hands. Sand in the shower from prior guest I'd guess. Paper towel holder had maybe 15 towels on it so we had to hit grocery store to buy more...couldn't find a replacement roll on any shelf or cabinet.
Even with that all said, I'd consider renting this unit again...balcony and beach access the best!!!

Everything about our stay was wonderful! Location was amazing to just walk to local restaurants! Drinking coffee on the patio every morning to the view of the ocean was just amazing!

Property was great, literally a few steps to the beach and restaurants were within walking distance. It was plenty of space for our family of 5. Wish we were closer so we could come back more often!

Great location, close to the beach, local shops and restaurants. Loved watching dolphins and manatees from the balcony. Might have been a bit better if the balcony wasn't in the master bedroom. The king bed was fairly comfortable. Used all amenities: grill, laundry, pool and Gulf-side fishing dock and all were good. Only negative was that the cable TV was difficult to use and the WiFi signal strength was weak to non-existent during our stay. Thanks.

The king bed was fairly comfortable. Used all amenities: grill, laundry, pool and Gulf-side fishing dock and all were good. We really enjoyed the property.
The sliding doors stick. The vent in the master bedroom made crazy noise when the heat ran. The ceiling fans need to be cleaned. Otherwise we loved it!!!

Another perfect vacation.
Each year, we look forward to another fabulous vacation and this past one, did not disappoint.
We started our vacation with a nature hike, down near Stump Pass Beach. It was so beautiful. Almost as beautiful as the gorgeous sunsets. Truly breathtaking.
Falling asleep, each night, to the sound of the Gulf, was so very relaxing.
We enjoyed our breakfast, each morning, on our private balcony, just steps from the Gulf. Sitting there watching the diving pelicans and swimming dolphins, was truly amazing.
We got up early one morning, to watch the sunrise, on the bay side. We had our own private dolphin show and the fish start jumping, just as the sun comes up. It was an awesome experience.
We love the new gas grills at Sunburst. We BBQ’d steaks and ate dinner on the balcony, as the sun went down. It was magical.
We had everything we needed, at the condo and the accommodations were more than comfortable.
Each evening we’d go to one of the local venues to enjoy a night cap, while listening to live music. There are quite a few places to go to, within a quarter mile. Very convenient.
I highly recommend this rental. I can hardly wait until next November, when we get to go back.

Beautiful beach and amenities
Overall, the stay was just perfect. Could not have asked for better weather and the views, seashells and other guests were all so delightful. The kids especially loved the swimming pool and the turtle outside they affectionately named Mr. Chompie. There was plenty of beach toys and fishing gear available to entertain the crew too. The condo itself was very clean with great views out of several of the rooms. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of storage space in the house. We had some issues with the internet connection not working great (maybe it was a sign to get outside and enjoy the view!). There were also a few keys items that we would have expected to have for an extended stay (toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, etc.). Aside from that, everything was great and we look forward to returning!

Another fabulous stay at Sunburst Condos
We had another fabulous stay, at Sunbrust 211, in Englewood, Florida. We've been staying here for the past several years and each year, it seems to get better. The accommodations are more than welcoming. We had everything we needed, right down to the brand new gas grills, in the common area, available for our use. Waking up each morning, to the sound of the ocean, right outside our door, was just so relaxing. Each day, we had breakfast on the balcony, as we watched the pelicans dive and dolphins swim by. At dusk, we would bring our chairs back to the beach, to watch the most gorgeous sunsets we've ever seen. All of this, was only feet from the condo. What helped to make this vacation so relaxing, was that we never had to get in the car to drive anywhere, once we were settled, which was our goal. It doesn't get any better than the beach right outside our door and several restaurants within walking distance. I can't recommend Sunburst 211, enough. We're already excited about going back again, this year. Hoping Mother Nature provides another beautiful week of sunshine, for our next stay.

Quiet, relaxing and worth it!
This was our second stay and just as awesome as the first several years ago.. Super relaxing and secluded. Condo is well decorated and equipped. It is close enough to everything you could need, while being far enough away that you feel like you're away! Sunsets are stunning and there is a great outdoor grilling area. Only one critique...the management company has recently changed which doesn't match the info on HomeAway causing a little confusion at the end of a long car ride. Otherwise, can't wait to go back!! Updating would give this condo what is missing
We enjoyed our stay because we were close to the beach and the weather was wonderful. Though next time we will stay somewhere else. The condo had a great view of the gulf but is in real need of updating. It has a lot of potential to be awesome and not feel like your at your great grandmothers old condo. Need some more towels if you sleep 6, could use some essentials like a pair of scissors for instance. We had to go buy beach chairs because though the closet had tons of things in it, most were not great for comfort or were rusted. The air conditioner struggled to cool the unit so much so that we called to have it looked at. It was repaired and did a bit better but we had to have all curtains drawn to help it. That really defeats having a room with a view.
On a positive note, it was clean and we all slept well in the beds. Checking in and out was easy. We had assigned parking which helps.
Overall, we were disappointed that we paid more for the view and got less in the condo than our stay last year in a non- beachfront unit. Lesson learned

Would not rent this property again
The only positive about the condo is the balcony that overlooks the Gulf of Mexico. However, you have to go through the master bedroom to get to it, so even that is not perfect. The condo is dark, dingy, and dated. The kitchen trash can was dirty, & the tub/shower drained way too slowly. The beds and sofa were uncomfortable. I did not expect luxury at this price point, but I was hoping for cute & comfy. My family was so disappointed with this property that we left a day early from our 3-day trip.

Perfect distance from the beach, quiet, roomy, and well furnished.
Went for our honeymoon. Had the perfect view of the beach from the balcony. The condo had everything we needed to cook, clean, relax, and enjoy our visit. We were able to pack lightly and get the most out of our trip. The beach was fantastically close and on the weekdays, the beach was not crowded at all. It's the perfect place for anybody that wants to escape from reality for a little while. The nearby restaurants were wonderful. The condo was in a very convenient spot for gasoline, food, groceries, and even for exploring western Florida. Will be recommending to people in the future.

You cannot beat the location, right on the beach and delightful pool by the bay.
Condo is somewhat dated, but space is nice and view is unbeatable. The people here are very friendly and gather for sunset and byo cocktails on the shared deck every night.

It was the best Florida vacation we've taken!
It was a perfect location and the beach was beautiful and so perfect. We felt like we had our own private beach with a great area to explore. The condo had everything we could have needed and more. Very clean
and appropriate decor. Everything was better than
promised. We had one small issue. Literally responded to in minutes. Nothing is ever absolutely perfect but it was so amazing a minor concern was
addressed so quickly and well. I enjoyed my interaction with
the owners from beginning to
end. We were fine with the quiet key and few businesses. We found three restaurants perfect on the key and anything else we needed right over the bridge. If you want noisy and busy don't come to manasota key. One thing to know in the winter though, pool isn't heated but no worry, the ocean was warm😊We hope to return many more times to come and stay at the same place.

Almost like being at home....except for the great sunsets!
We spent several nights and now wish we'd reserved a whole week! The upstairs two bedroom/two bath unit was so comfortable and I can't remember needing even one item b/c the condo had it all (thanks to the Owners.) (If you stay more than a couple of days though, take some extra paper towels and toilet paper.) It was a tad bit outdated (think '70's), but very clean and the furnishings were nice. But what we really enjoyed every day was the deck across the back of the whole unit! It was not huge, but perfect for 2-4 people. We brought a beach umbrella, but quickly discovered that sitting out on the deck was just as good....no, much better!.....than sitting on a sandy beach. It was a good place to people watch too. :) We stayed out on the deck everyday until the hot sun forced us back inside between 1pm to 6pm, but then we were back out on it until around 11pm. It was so much fun taking pictures of the sunsets and posting on Instagram (made our friends jealous....lol). The natural landscaping around the condo plus Manasota Key and Englewood at large reminded us of the Old Florida (we're in our sixties) and we really appreciated seeing and feeling that type of environment. We found a great little seafood "market" and steamed "boat-run" (e.g. caught that day!) peel and eat shrimp one evening. All in all, it was such an enjoyable mini-vacay......and we hope to go back again next summer.

WOW!! Sunset view from your balcony!!!!
When we arrived we easily found our parking spot...,and the key to enter. Entering we were pleased with the cleanliness of our vacation home.
Once unpacked our daily walk was steps away on the beach at Manasota Key. Seashell's everywhere! So far so good. Then sundown arrived.... and as we sat on our deck enjoying a glass of wine we watched the setting sun sink into the Gulf of Mexico. WOW! Next we easily walked to one of the excellent local restaurants for dinner. All in the first day. Each day next was as good as the first.

Sunsets and location are outstanding, the condo itself is average
This is the place to go for great sunsets, being right on the beach and the ability to walk to restaurants. As long as those are your priorities you'll be very satisfied. The condo itself is just average and could use some improvements. The bathrooms are tiny, the second bedroom beds are iffy/creaky, the couch is not very comfortable, the TV is small and not the best, the sliding doors on the master bedroom don't fit properly (we had big storms one night and the wind howled through the gap) and half the deck furniture is broken in some fashion. That all said it was clean and livable and worked for us as we wanted it for the location.

Un petit bout de paradis
Nous avons séjourné dans ce appartement durant 6 jours. initialement, nous pensions visiter divers endroits au départ de Manasota, mais nous étions si bien au calme dans cet endroit que nous ne sommes partis qu'une seule journée. Le reste du temps nous avons savouré cette plage et la mer, le ramassage de coquillages et dents de requins. Un réel plaisir. A refaire quand nous reviendrons en Floride. Merci

Peaceful Vacation Condo
Wonderful family beach getaway. My family stayed for 10 days and it was perfect...we saw sea turtles hatch, dolphins swim, caught fish from the dock, evening walks on the beach and so much more.
The only negative is the parking...the spaces are very tight for a large SUV (they'll fix but it's tricky).

Beautiful and relaxing beach condo!
We really enjoyed our stay at this beach condo! The property was recently renovated and very comfortable. The condo was fully equipped as advertised. Sunsets and beach access were amazing! A sea turtle lives just below the deck and comes out of hiding mornings to eat. Definitely family friendly! Private beach is clean with emerald and azure waters for your pleasure. We will be back!
