Exceptional comfort and convenience. Brilliant location close to lake, hiking trails. Fully equiped kitchen and amenities including deluxe sauna. Darja the manager/host was incredibly hospitable, helpful and happy, a real pleasure and so accommodating. She even brought books and games for the kids.

We stayed in winter (snow) and with 2 children (4 + 10 yo). What we liked: Cleanliness - quite possibly the cleanest apartment we have ever rented anywhere. We felt as if we were the first to stay here ever. Location - not located on the lake but about a 15-20 minute walk, the village of Stara Fuzina is so quaint and cozy. There is a small grocery store less than 5 min walk from the property with anything you might need. As well as a few restaurant options within 5-minute walk. We were able to call (almost everyone we came in contact with on our trip spoke english) and order for takeaway (Covid) with no problems. Amenities: The apartment has everything you need in the kitchen for most meals (we cooked in). Exceptional water pressure, comfortable beds, and bedding. The balcony and sofa have a direct view of Triglav, the tallest peak in Slovenia. A community gear room for dirty or wet gear, complete with a boot drying system (we were here in winter so this room was great). The sauna was amazing. A whole separate room which has a toilet, shower, Infrared Sauna, waterfall feature, lounging chairs.....it's is literally a mini spa within the building. More than enjoyable. The drive and surrounding walkways were completely free of ice and snow. There are two floors, upstairs with 2 single beds and downstairs sofa folded out into a bed larger than a queen-size in the USA. We put the kids upstairs and slept on the pull-out. More than comfortable blankets and pillows. Host - Darja and her husband met us with the keys and were incredibliy friendly and cheerful. They were full of great suggestions in regards to activities in the area. Darja was easily accessible via Whats App and their overall vibe was fantastic Overall - this apartment does not miss a beat, no detail was overlooked while maintaining a simplistic atmosphere. If in Bohinj area you should not be spending much time indoors and while you are indoors Villa Darja has you covered.

Fresh new, just finished. Fully equiped, nice and spacious apartment. Modern look. Very convenient for Mostnica walk, walking distance to lake. Darja is very kind, trying to be as helpful as she can, our daughters liked her a lot as well.

Just what you can dream of, when you make a reservation through booking.com. Nice accomodation, nice people, nice country. The good weather is the bonus.
