Grand studio (4 personnes) situé à Edgecomb, ME, dans la région de Boothbay Harbor. Entouré de jardins cultivés à quelques mètres du bord de l'eau dans le port de Sheepscot River, nous profitons d'une vue imprenable et de couchers de soleil depuis notre suite confortable, propre et meublée de façon éclectique. La kitchenette est bien équipée et nous préparons 3 repas par jour ici. Nous sommes situés dans une station balnéaire sur l'île Davis Edgecomb, juste à côté de la route un. Nous sommes à une heure au nord de Portland. Il y a de nombreux sites magnifiques dans la région - plages, restaurants, musées, boutiques et autres attractions.

This property is very comfortable to be in, and pleasant despite a mostly rainy weekend. Bathroom set up is lovely, kitchen is functional, the view from the windows is nice, the pier is fun to walk out on, Fort Edgecomb is close by.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the bed is a little hard, and the noise from the upstairs apartment can be quite loud. It sounds like the upstairs apartment doesn't have carpet, and that the inhabitants walk around in loud shoes, heavily. It was disruptive to sleep at times.

All night long bright light shines through the front door and kitchen window which made it hard to sleep. The people on the second floor were very noisy walkers.

This place was perfect for my mother and me. It was a convenient location for our adventures in Damariscotta, Boothbay and surrounds. We highly recommend it.

The rental was exactly as it looked in the pictures! It was pleasantly decorated and quite comfortable. We rented as an anniversary getaway and found wonderful restaurants and things to do and see in the area. Our host was very solicitous with any questions we had. And the sunsets from our room and the back of the property were amazing! I would return and definitely recommend this property!

The property is in a great location just outside of Wiscasset, serving up fabulous water views right out your window. The restaurant right next door is also a nice added bonus, and you can easily walk down the bridge to enjoy one of the local lobster shacks. The unpictured bathroom is spacious with a shower/tub combo. I was glad to see a kettle in the kitchen for tea. The bed could definitely use a topper, the ceiling as others have mentioned is not well insulated, and the kitchen window has an outdoor light that shines through. Overall I found the apartment to be a good value and I would consider staying here again.

It makes us feel uncomfortable.
You can hear people walking upstairs.The beds are not comfortable whatsoever.The AC unit is very loud . The towels and the property had a musky odor.

I can highly recommend this property and host. We had a couple of questions which Nancy handled promptly and effectively! We had a great stay.

However, every single movement of anyone in the upstairs unit is VERY noticeable and sleep disturbing! Also, there is a very bright outside light (somewhere) that shines through the un-shaded frosted glass kitchen window that contributes even further to a sleepless night. I would not book this apartment again.

I do have some mixed feelings about this apartment. I t was well stocked with everything needed such as paper towels, soap, trash bags, toiletries, etc. A lot of furniture crowded into a small space but it seemed to work. Great get away!

Maine 2021
The place was excellent. We throughly enjoyed our trip! It was in a perfect location and everything we could have asked for! We can’t wait to come back next year.

As advertised
Everything was described accurately. The place is just off route 1, so you can hear the din of traffic. Nothing takes away from the beauty of the bay and sweet dock out front. There’s a strange scent that we couldn’t identify, so if you’re hyper sensitive like me it may not be the best place for you. All in it suited our need to be close enough to the triaining I was attending in Walpole.

Short stay, good location, noisy upstairs neighbors
The place was clean and the location was great. We had no problems with this place, except that the neighbors directly above us on the second floor were noisy. There must have been a toddler upstairs. We woke the toddler running and thumping sounds each morning.

For those who are trying to cook their own meals, kitchen items were sparse. Would be great to have a tea kettle and a few knives that work.

We (three friends) spent two nights here while visiting Maine and had a FANTASTIC experience. The space was clean and the location was PERFECT!! A nice corner spot near an outdoor sitting area right near the water with easy access to the parking lot, too! The location is right off the Route 1 bridge into Wiscasset and we were able to take nice walks around the little village in the morning and walked over to get a WONDERFUL lobster roll in the evening!
Nancy was very easy to communicate with and I really felt like she was concerned with our comfort and making sure that we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay!
