Alle Zimmer sind anders gestaltet und eingerichtet. Hat Charme und versprüht Individualität.

Es ist doch sehr laut früh morgens am Bahnhof, aber das kann man sich im Vorfeld denken. Gestört hat es uns nicht sonderlich.

Frühstück war gut , Lage war zur Hauptstraße, aber nichts von der Straße zu hören . Parkplätze waren kostenfrei von der Pension um die Ecke . Anbindung zum Hafen zu laufen war sehr gut .

It is a very nicely furnished and cozy Pension right at the train station. I was afraid of the noise from trains coming every hour, but this was not an issue (plus, they provide earplugs!). Each room is a piece of art made in collaboration with some local artist in a completely different style. The accommodation is apparently subsidized by the city, so there's no proper reception (you need to go to the Deutsche Bahn office), and their work hours are very scarce. Consider this if you might need something extra (for example, I needed a kettle, but it was not provided in the room and impossible to get a hold of it, since the office/reception was closed all weekend). But the staff was friendly and helpful, communicated with us way in advance and prepared everything for a nice stay.

My main disappointment was that there was no shower in my room (neither outside). On booking.com it was stated as a "shared bathroom", so I expected there would be a common facility somewhere on the floor, but there was none, and this (rather important) matter wasn't communicated in advance, neither stood in a room description. It is a big deal breaker. Also, the breakfast was very disappointing: it is situated in a different Pension, and I haven't come across such unpleasant and rude staff in years! They made everything possible for us to not be willing to come back again (on the second morning we preferred to have a breakfast elsewhere, even though it was already paid for).

The fact that its a train station makes it unique. No noises, slept very well, clean, good breakfast and great staff especially Paula who answered all my querries before coming. Bonus the free boatride and free entrance to Spreewaltbad.

The staff called me prior to our stay in order to address my concerns. I was assisted right away.
