Staffs service is excellent, many private onsen to choose from. Meals are excellent in private dining room with exclusive services. Facilities are beautiful
Could have asked about type of diet or anything that the customer doesn't take or allergy to during booking.
Dinner comes as a fixed set of few courses already prepared beforehand, we didn't take beef and horse sashimi but there isn't any substitution as all was already prepared.

Situated in the very nice environment, such a beautiful scenic view in a very tiny town. A good choice for relaxation.

+ Along with their beautiful outdoor onsen which are shown in the featured pics, they also offer 6 various types of onsen on the premise; 3 of which are in private rooms for the more modest travelers, or for pairs of travelers who... aren't so modest.
+ The view from the room and the Ryokan itself was incredibly scenic and pleasant to simply take in and wander around the premise.
+ The food was superb - with breakfast being one step above their dinner, IMO.
+ Their guest service team was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Not only did they allow me free stay to relax in my room after the appointed check-out time of 10am, but they also provided free shuttle service to the bus stop afterwards as well.
The only detriment that travelers may have about booking here is simply the price tag. However, I would still highly recommend Yamabiko Ryokan if you're willing to spurge a little in order to obtain a spectacular Japanese Onsen experience.
