Une maison de famille du 19e siècle, située dans les hautes terres d’Oak Bluffs, près du parc du temple baptiste. Cette maison se trouve à environ 1 km des terminaux de ferry pour Island Queen, Vineyard Fast Ferry, Seastreak, Hy-Line et Steamship Authority (terminal Oak Bluffs). Trois chambres au total avec un lit queen, un lit simple et un lit double. Salle de bain complète à l'étage avec douche intérieure, demi-salle de bain en bas et douche extérieure. Unités de fenêtre A / C fournis dans les chambres à l'étage, les ventilateurs prévus pour en bas. Buanderie très limitée mais proche de la ville pour tous les besoins. Parking privé pour un maximum de (4) véhicules. Charmant porche couvert à l'avant, petite terrasse à l'arrière avec cour très privée. Internet Wifi fourni avec Roku et Windows 7 PC disponible pour afficher Netflix, Hulu, le sport, etc. Pas de télévision par câble.

If you like historic homes, this is a hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood. It reminded us of what it would have been like to have a Vineyard "cottage" back in the day. The owners have done a great job maintaining the historic charm. They've updated appliances and the outdoor shower was amazing. Sitting on the porch was equally pleasant. This is a quiet, no frills place, with lots of nooks and crannies to discover. Be sure the read the book about the property. It's not ideal for little, little kids but ours were 6, 8, and 11 and did just fine! Thank you for letting us experience this step back in time.

The stay was just as described. Old house but it was clean and all amenities available. Close to the Oak Bluffs center and the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much.

If you're looking for a sleek, modern property, look elsewhere. But if you like quirky old historic places with a laid-back vibe, this is your place. The house is clean, shady and private. Easy walk to town. Beds are comfy and check in is a breeze. This was our second stay, and I would love to come back again!

We had a very nice time. The property is very old 1877 and I know has a lot of wonderful family history!! I definitely recommend this house. The location is perfect too. I love Oak Bluffs area so it is perfect.

This house had everything we needed and more. The breezy porch and the window AC units in the bedrooms kept us cool. On the two very hot days, we turned on the downstairs AC units, and they worked great. We loved the roomy outdoor shower, newer washer/dryer, and bright kitchen. Also, the owners provided the things that I always (just in case) pack for rentals, from dish soap to paper towels to a nightlight in the bathroom. It's rustic but clean. The staircase is a little steep and narrow, which is something to consider if bringing small kids or elderly guests. The East Chop location was what we were looking for, and it's an easy walk to town. This historic cottage was a great home base for a wonderful vacation.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Peter and Jon's home. The house itself was so charming and comfortable, with welcomed amenities such as AC's in all of the bedrooms. The home is rich with history, which added to the experience. The wraparound porch makes for a fantastic happy hour spot too! The neighborhood was quiet and neighbors were friendly. It's a beautiful 15 minute walk into town where you can eat, drink, shop, swim, etc. Peter and Jon were also so responsive leading up to the trip which was very helpful. My group and I had an unforgettable weekend, and would definitely love to stay again!

This is not a house for children at all but for the 4 of us it was perfect. We wanted a house that was walking distance from downtown OB but not in the craziness. It’s very easy to find. We walked East Chop a couple of the mornings which was about 3 miles from the house round trip. The house was very clean (other than some dust) and there were plenty of supplies available. We loved the big porch and the quiet neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything is functional, the beds are comfortable, the porch and patio are great for relaxing. The location is excellent, in a very quiet "dirt road" neighborhood yet five minutes away from Oak Bluffs port by walk, less by bike. Oak Bluffs is a great town to stay at on this island, it has convenient access to everywhere. The owners were very responsive and helpful about topics relating to arrival and departure.

Perfect little getaway
Clean house located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Oak Bluffs. Had everything we needed. The owners had great communication with me and recommended some places to book a sail, which we appreciated! The bedrooms have AC units which definitely helped us to sleep comfortably. We enjoyed spending time on the porch and backyard deck. We all absolutely loved the outdoor shower which was really refreshing! Would highly recommend for families or couples!

A quiet location that is very close to excellent restaurants, bars, shopping, beaches and our ferry with hospitable hosts providing invaluable recommendations for first-time visitors to Martha’s Vineyard. Thanks to this experience, it won’t be out last.
