It was very beautifully designed, and it had a lot of Sri Lankan Art and antiques. It had a really well chosen collection of new articles displayed with the company, text setting out a history of the area. The food was delicious and it was served in good time. The pool was amazing. Staff were amazing.
I could also see that they were so supportive of the local community. The staff were giving out lessons in hospitality management to local students.

Staff in the reception not when we check in but previous day when I called to talk
After I booked the room I called the hotel to regarding a decoration to the room(10 Feb 2024 - 8:13 am)
The person from the other side said will check the booking, will called me again and will do the necessities. But when we check in the room , there was nothing. I didn’t expect These kind of treatment from this kind of hotel

Eine kleines Paradies hinter den Mauern. Zunächst waren wir etwas entsetzt als man uns den Parkplatz im Nebengelände zeigte. Dieser ist sehr dreckig, da dort auch die Müllentsorgung des Hotels ist. Aber zum Glück erhielten wir an der Rezeption ein anderes Bild. Vorbei an einem wunderschöner Garten und einem gepflegten Swimmingpool kamen wir an unserem Zimmer im ersten Stock an. . Das Zimmer ist wie beschrieben und sehr sauber. Die Betten bequem. Das Frühstücksbuffett war sehr gut. Es fehlte an nichts und wir können auch diese Unterkunft weiter empfehlen.
Wir fanden es etwas zu teuer. Vor allem das Abendbuffett hat uns nicht zugesagt, da die Speisen gegen 21:00 Uhr alle kalt waren. Aber wir konnten anstandslos dann aus der Karte Gerichte auswählen. Und die waren richtig lecker.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, excellent food and service! We were pleased that Scoty made our stay perfect with his very polite way, good attention, good english (good speaking and understanding) and professional behavior.

Beautiful resort, nice rooms, friendly staff and delicious food.
There were a lot of photoshoots during our stay which made it annoying when moving around the grounds to have lunch and we decided not to use the pool as there were so many photographers and outsiders on the grounds during the day. We were not warned about this.

Amith! I won't say that he lifted up the whole place, because the whole team is awesome but he is a big big big + for the hotel. The gardens are so beautiful and the food... just wow!

Great facilities and location in Kokuvil, not too far from the town. The only hotel with its own swimm. The breakfast and dinner dinner and service was excellent

We only stayed for 1 night and enjoyed the pool and beautiful gardens. Stunning location for locals taking their wedding photos which was quite a scene…restaurant service with Scotti was super friendly and food was good. There is also a bunker to discover, now converted into an art gallery.
The pool was warmer than a bathtub ;-)

This is the place to stay if you're in Jaffna. Staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the food. Scotty was an exceptional help and always made sure we were well taken care of.

Another wonderful stay at Fox Resorts Jaffna. We stayed for two nights and were treated as the ambassador's, very professional front office team thanks to Prasanth and Amalan.
Special thanks to chef Pushpe who went out of his way to fulfil our dietary requirements.
At the restaurant Scotty, Diroyan for their friendly service and the manager Trevin very professional and lead his team by example, never heard the word no from any employee. They are always ready to go for the extra mile.

centrally located. breakfast included had several options including local and international cuisine.
Staff seemed uninterested when we checked in. we were barely greeted and then escorted to our heritage rooms and then that was it. we basically had to explore the rest of the property on our own including figuring out timing for breakfast etc. rooms were also not consistent, we booked 2 heritage rooms (one had a shower cubicle, other did not even though they were literally next to each other). also the next day housekeeping was completed but no replacement towels were put in. I would think these are pretty basic hospitality concepts that were not followed.

This is my third visit to Fox Jaffna. It was a pleasant stay, we enjoyed a lot. The front desk staff were professional and gave us a warm welcome. Especially Prabhu and Prasanth done a good job.
