We love Mayrhofen and visit frequently, this time for two weeks in September. The location of this property is excellent, almost underneath the Penkenbahn, and less then 5 minutes walk to the local supermarket for the groceries. The kitchen facilities are excellent, the apartment spacious, clean and comfortable. Just two apartments in the building also makes it very peaceful. Monika (the owner) and her husband are very pleasant to deal with, and nothing is too much trouble for them. We will be returning.
We can't think of anything at all not to like about this place. If you are arriving on the Zillertalbahn with two weeks of luggage like us, then you may want to grab a taxi. This cost us 7 Euro on a Sunday afternoon and was money well spent.
