Great location, 5mins walk from the station/centre of town.
Maria was incredibly accommodating and friendly, and has great local knowledge with excellent recommendations.
The room was clean and comfortable, and having the kitchen available for breakfast at any time rather than needing to eat by a certain time was great
Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if I'm visiting that part of the world.
A very minor thing - my room had sole use of the bathroom across the hall from the room, which wasn't a problem in itself - my only issue is that the light in the hallway (on a motion sensor) was incredibly bright when getting up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night! A more gentle light would have been appreciated.

I understood from the description on booking.com that it had its own parking, it is actually street parking and was pretty crammed. Host moved his van in order for me to park which was kind.

Super easy to get to, very welcoming host. Accommodation clean comfortable and fun. Murals, view sole use of top floor and greay breakfast room facilities combined with personable, cheery ownet, made for a good night's stay. His recommendation for where to eat in the evening was spot on.

Simon is the most lovely host - we are yet to meet Maria! This place feels very much home from home - where you can help yourself to a delicious breakfast at a time that suits you....much appreciated as we rise after 9am! The stay here is always very laid back and relaxed - but also exciting when you never know what interesting people you may meet in the kitchen - in terms of other guests!
The bedroom and bathrooms are spotless, the rooms a perfect temp and the views from the property fabulous. For people that don't know the are, there is boundless info on places to visit/things to do and how to get there.
Would highly recommend to all.

The atmosphere, the friendly laid back welcome, the 'treat the kitchen as your own' ethos (just better stocked for breakfast choice). The relaxing colours. The thought put into all the room layouts

Fab location, very convenient for the Isles of Scilly as not far from the harbour, and the heliport. Very clean and lovely comfy bed
The breakfast was a self service continental which sounded like a good idea but when we came down at 8.30am there were only 2 small cold croissants left which was disappointing. There was cereal and fruit just not the selection of warm pastries we would have liked and expected The kitchen was nice and quirky though

Absolutely fab hosts - everything you could need and very comfortable bed. Brilliant location with easy access to bars and restaurants.
We will be returning for longer next time so we can explore more of Cornwall!

If I could give a rating of 11 out of 10, I would do it without hesitation. This place is small heaven in Cornwall. First, the location close to the train station and the city centre is perfect. Second, the owners are such kind people that make you feel at home. Third, the place is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and I slept so well there. Fourth, the kitchen!!! is so lovely and the freshly baked croissants made me look forward to every morning. Fifth, what else do I need to say... I loved every second in that place :-).

Best experience!!! The place is very easy to find and very convenient location for any movement in the local area. The landlord was very friendly and sweet, the arrangement is also very flexible and considerate so really the best stay hoped for.

The rooms were clean and tidy, bed was very comfy and the view from the Lands End room we were in was fantastic. Friendly owners too! Good walking distance into town, bus and railway station very close also.

The staff/owners were friendly and went above and beyond to suit our needs. The room was immaculately cleaned and beautifully decorated. The shower was amazing.
Only one thing would be the bed could have been a little more comfy. Was very soft and in fact I felt like I was going to fall out of it when near the edge. Maybe an older mattress. But certainly for one night the least of our worries in such a beautiful establishment

The breakesfast was perfekt. Good, fresh and we could take what we prefered. The hosipitality was very good and we felt warmly welcome.
It was near the railway station, perfekt after a long journey.
