Villa la Rosa is in an amazing location, with excellent, helpful management.
We were able to get driven to and from the ferry for our stay, which was a big help.
My only criticism is that the outdoor chairs could be loud when guests scrape them to be seated. I would suggest adding some pads underneath to make the sound softer.

Beautiful family run property! Incredible to wake up to the view and enjoyed the peaceful location, hard to believe the bustling streets of Bellagio are only a short walk down the hill. Brothers Marco and Andrea were always available and have great knowledge and restaurant tips in the area. We were amazed at their generosity and willingness to pick us up from down the hill after a long day walking. (Taxis are scarce so this was much appreciated!) to top off the excellent breakfast each day they also made platters for dinner if we didn’t have plans and we were treated to Andrea’s delicious home cooked lasagna one night! Our room was clean and very comfortable and the pool above was a great place to wind down. They have local wines and olive oil for sale on site - which they should promote more as the Rosé was delicious and reasonably priced. We arrived and departed by ferry without a vehicle but Andrea was there to pick us up and drop us back to the port. Great service!

The experience was truly exceptional, with breathtaking views, a stunning space, and top-notch service. It offered a peaceful escape from the crowds, complete with a private pool. An absolutely amazing experience!

The location and the view were amazing and calm. The staff was very friendly and available to help even before the stay.
The reception at the entrance was not clear. Also the breakfast had limited options and in order to get to the villas from Bellagio center you had to climb a lot of stairs.

The view was amazing! It was the perfect start to our honeymoon. The pool and garden were GREAT! The room was clean and minimalist, but met all of our needs. Breakfast on our patio in the morning with an amazing view was the cherry on top of an amazing stay!
Not really a dislike, but is information worth having, the walk from city center is ~20 minutes down hill (which means uphill back to the B&B). Marco was wonderful and picked us up and dropped us back off at the ferry stop so we did not have to do that walk with out luggage, which was so helpful. We did not mind the walk, but if you have mobility limitations is worth being aware.

The property is family owned and run. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful. Reception is available until 8.30pm and attend to any request immediately. Lovely place to stay.

Villa La Rosa sits on a panoramic hill a short walk to the busy Bellagio and overlooking Lake Como. The swimming pool and outdoor lounge area sits ontop of the accommodation built into the hillside with amazing 360 degree views. It's such a peaceful place. Andrea and Marco were perfect hosts and we enjoyed their home grown food served to us over sunset and a glass of wine.

Such a beautiful property owned by family. Andrea and Marco were attentive and personable. The whole experience was amazing. Dinner and breakfast with a view will never be forgotten. We loved every minute of being here and can’t wait to come back.

The hotel is very nice and the owners are very pleasant and helpful. We were picked up on our arrival to Bellagio and driven to the ferry on our departure. Breakfast served on the verandah each morning was very nice.
Unfortunately Bellagio, like most of Lake Como, is suffering from over tourism and a lack of taxis. We have been to Bellagio twice before and not experienced the severe lack of taxis like on this occasion, which for us was a problem due to the many stairs to reach the accommodation.

We had a great stay here. It starts with very clear communication before arrival followed by a very warm welcome by the 2 brothers. The hosts really pick-up every potential question and provided pro-activily very helpful information on visits, restaurants, taxi,... The modern rooms are nice and with a great view. The pool is just perfect with view over the Como lake and mountings. Small meals and drinks (also a nice wine-list) can be brought to the pool of room-terrace, but without any pushing and correct prices.

The view from the room and room terrace is spectacular. The pool is great with spectacular view. It is very quiet and relaxing and the room has very good curtain shades so you can sleep very well in the morning. The host is very friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean and they clean the room every day. The room is huge and you have plenty of space. Breakfast is very good, you get croisssants, bread, butter, jam, nutella, coffee/tea, fruit, fruit yoghurt, juice (and if you need anything additionally they will bring it to you). They offered to pick up us at the ferry station when we came to Bellagio. Bed is very comfortable and good size. If you need iron or anything else they will bring it to you.
For us everything was perfect, only thing you have to walk uphill from center of the town but the walk between walls and grennery was very nice and interesting so we didn't mind it. It wasn't an issue for us but if you have difficulties going up and downhill you should consider it.

The moment we arrived to Villa La Rossa we felt pure excitement and amazement as we took in the spectacular views. A peaceful location away from the noise of the town, we were really able to relax into and enjoy our surroundings. Large, modern spacious rooms very clean. The hosts were exceptional, always on hand to help with any questions. We were celebrating my birthday and Andrea greeted us with Prosecco and a cake which was so thoughtful and made for the best check in experience ever! Breakfast served to your terrace each morning was a lovely touch and set us up for each day exploring the beautiful town. Thank you to everyone at Villa La Rosa for providing such a wonderful holiday.

A fabulous place away from the hustle and bustle of Bellagio, nothing was too much trouble from picking us up at the harbour, advising on travel, where to eat and what to visit, to providing a meal with local foods and wine. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, 15 minutes to walk to the center, restaurants, ferry station. The view and service - wonderful. Free parking upon request - was great. Fabolous breakfast with a view in the terrace. Very quite place, bed is comfortable. Very clean, new place.

Fantastic apartment for a short stay in Bellagio. The hosts were so accommodating allowing us to check in early and also offered us a lift back to the port with our cases. This is a family run business so you get all the extras personal touches. Breakfast was served on the little private balcony with amazing views. Couldn’t recommend more.
The location is ideal, a 10 minute walk from Bellagio centre however there are a lot of steps to the property. This wasn’t a problem for me and my partner but for anyone with Small children, or of an older age, this may be slightly difficult. That said, if you are able, don’t let this put you off this amazing stay.

it is exactly as advertised and how others have described. the owners are wonderful. You need to be comfortable walking up a substantial hill but it’s rewarding to get away from town and relax above it all with wine and the view!

The location was phenomenal, very tranquil and peaceful
I would just suggest improve/changing the mattress and pillows as they were extremely uncomfortable, almost felt like we were sleeping on the floor. Also, to be a little more generous with the breakfast ingredients, it was nice but, it was certainly not enough, and we are not big eaters!

The room was perfect. The bedroom area was very spacious, modern and clean. The bathroom was also very large and had very good water pressure and hot water. Bed was very comfortable aswell and there was extra blankets if needed. The location was perfect with a very nice view of the lake and mountains. Only 5-10min stroll to the centre. There was alot of stair to get back to the B&B. Breakfast was serves on your patio at your preferred time between 8-10am. Definitely recommend.
