Perfect for my work trip. Quiet and peaceful. Check in and out a breeze. Tucked away in nice location but near shopping and restaurants. Will stay here again.

I was traveling to Dothan for one night to take my Securities Industries Exam, and was looking for a quiet place to stay. Kingsley and Claire’s rental was exactly what I needed! I arrived in the evening and was welcomed to a quiet, spacious space. My name was written on a welcome sign next to a jar of mints - I thought that was a very sweet and homely touch. I slept soundly through the night and there were no bright lights or loud noises to pervade my sleep. The next morning, I was able to shower, meditate, and watch the donkeys graze on their breakfast, all without disturbance. Both times I texted the homeowners, I received rapid, friendly responses. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again when I’m back in town to take my Series 7. Thanks Kingsley and Claire!!

We stopped for just one over-nite on our road tip back to FL. The place was cute, clean and comfortable. A very informative binder was on the coffee table to let us know everything that we needed to know about the home and the area. It was a pleasant experience.

My stay was ok. The directions were fine, the location was fine, but I was not at all happy with the cleanliness or the aggressive dog. The cleanliness was acceptable, unless you like it really clean. The ceiling fans are disgustingly dirty and it made the rest feel questionable. I came back one evening with my husband and 3 dogs after spending the day away and was greeted by a barking dog. I figured that if the dog was aggressive that it wouldn't just be able to roam freely. Well, the dog charged me and I stood my ground, but I got my first dog out and got her inside with just him having an aggressive posture. My second dog was charged and then he was trying to bite her. I'm not sure if she was bit or not, but she let out a few yelps. With that going on I didn't know that the door would lock after being opened with the key, but we found ourselves locked out. My husband had my two dogs against the house and defended them with a broom when the other dog tried to attack them. I walked over to the house, because my cell phone was inside and I couldn't call them. The dog kept running up behind me growling and snarling, but I made it to the back door and knocked. A young girl looked out, but then walked away and wouldn't respond. I walked out of the gated area to the front door, fighting off this dog every couple of feet. I made it to the front door and still nobody would answer. I went back to my husband and dogs and I had him check to see if the window was unlocked and it was. I climbed in the window, with my arm in a sling after surgery and unlocked the door to get everyone to safety. When I got back to my phone, there was a text saying that the daughter called freaked out and if I needed something to let them know. That dog is aggressive and should not be around people or animals. It looked like some kind of Pitbull mix and about 65 pounds. Very scary episode that should have never happened.

This was a great place to stay in Dothan. This was our first night out with our new puppy (8 months old) and it was just perfect for the three of us!

This property is super quite and very nice! I loved staying here the little house was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Everything you need. Would definitely recommend staying here.

My husband, 2 year old daughter, and myself stayed for a night to break up our travels to Florida. My daughter really enjoyed the donkeys after a long travel day, the home was well equipped for what we needed and in a great location off the beaten path yet still close to all amenities in Dothan. We had great communication with the hosts and they are very nice, we will certainly stay here again! Thanks so much for the hospitality!

Claire and Kingsley were great hosts! The cottage was clean, well stocked and peaceful. The donkeys were so fun to watch, pet and feed! The location was perfect for us! We highly recommend this little piece of paradise!

What a wonderful little apartment! It was super clean, pretty and filled with everything we needed. I also loved feeding the burros. Our dog was happy and we were thrilled with the privacy and quiet. This was a fantastic choice!

The little Dothan apartment is great. It is clean and well maintained. Each room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our kids enjoyed watching the donkeys in the pasture and playing with one of the yard cats. The apartment is close to every convenience, yet surrounded by trees in a quiet neighborhood, and the owners were courteous and attentive to our needs. Should we have opportunity to stay in Dothan again, we will see if this apartment is available.

The owners of the property were welcoming. The guesthouse was nice & cozy, perfect for my dog and I. I highly recommend this property and I would come back another time.
