Hotel Sapphire

Staff very friendly! Thank you Faith for your help and for make me feel very wellcome! And Thank you also to Merci from the restaurant, she was also very nice.

The location is handy on the island  - we chose to stay here because of the location and having a pool. Pool was fine - slightly odd location being almost in the restaurant and was very cold, but it was fine. Room itself was very modern and comfortable with good toiletries/complimentary items. Felt secure. Excellent breakfast buffet which they opened slightly early for us due to an early flight - this was much appreciated.

Found staff a little over bearing at times. We ate in the restaurant for ease and wish we hadn't- food wasn't great, 2 dishes were inedible due to being very salty. Instead of just knocking them off the bill they kept bringing more food alternatives we hadn't ordered and didn't want. It was very awkward and caused a big delay, I wouldn't eat here again.

The staff were absolutely lovely, very attentive and responsive to our needs, which made travelling with our 18-month-old so much easier. Brenda in particular was wonderful, and the breakfast staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Our room was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed, including a microwave, kettle, fridge and TV with Netflix and YouTube, which was really useful with a little one. They also arranged a cot for us. The hotel organised a taxi to collect us from the airport and another to take us to our next destination, which we really appreciated. Being somewhere new, it was reassuring to have the hotel help arrange reliable transport for us. Everything we asked for was provided and we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The only minor issues were with communication before we arrived and the taxis. I wasn't able to message the hotel through the Booking.com app in the same way as with our other hotels, so I had to contact them by email instead, which meant responses sometimes took a little longer. We had also requested a baby car seat for the taxis, but unfortunately neither taxi had one. This was a little disappointing when travelling with an 18-month-old. However, these were relatively minor issues and didn't take away from what was otherwise a great stay.

Noise - right next to mosque and speaker 🔊 Internal noise from housekeeping dragging beds in the morning. I did not get any rest for the2 nights I was there Overall , it did not deliver value for money at
