Situated in a tucked away part of Old Louisville, this old 3-story + basement house was ideal for a large holiday gathering of family. Wish we could have had better weather (Christmas snow) to appreciate the mini-neighborhood of houses there. Must be beautiful in spring/summer!

Friends and I were visiting Louisville for a bourbon tasting and theological retreat. The home was spacious, decor up to date, and provided a great place for us to comfortably gather outside or our planned activities. Would definitely stay again if we ever make our way back to Louisville.

Everything was pretty good. House it’s beautiful it self, but It was not as clean enough. And the sheets weren’t wash. I had to wash them all before we used the beds. Pillows are very dirty (yellow). I would suggest more pans. There was only 2 and old.

Stayed with a group of 9 friends for two nights during the week. Plenty of space and great location. Would definitely return if ever back in Louisville.

Enjoyed the Old Louisville neighborhoods and the tour of the Victorian housing. An interesting experience. Neighborhood was quiet.

In town for a conference and plenty of room for the 5 of us to have our own personal space but still hang out on the main floor.

For the rate we paid, we felt like the property was a good value. The neighborhood is nice, old Louisville but there's definitely some lower income multi-family housing mixed in with the million dollar homes. Good proximity to both downtown as well as highways to explore bourbon country. Home was nicely done and updated in the kitchen and bathrooms. Home could use some limited repairs/maintenance (oven wasn't working, brick steps to get into the house were loose, etc) and would really benefit from some sort of usable outdoor space. It's a good size property but the only usable portion of the exterior is the front porch. Bedding was definitely lacking as the quality of the mattresses/pillows was really sub par. A lot of very firm mattresses and motel-style thin and crunchy pillows. Property management was not responsive for weeks leading up to the check-in date but was then extremely responsive in the 48 hours prior, which made up for it.

It would have been nice if the host would have answered my questions before our stay. A little communication goes a long way. The 3 star review is not based on the accommodations but on the host.

Was a nice comfortable house for our group. You have a good cleaning crew, place was clean and we hope we left it reasonably so for them! The lights on the basement staircase have been mentioned in several of your prior reviews and also did not work for us. I would recommend looking at that for safety reasons (if not liability as well). The front door we figured out but I would suggest including the details about the pin position on your welcome email. We missed that part originally. All the needed amenities were there (poss Exception being trash bags). Would definitely recommend to another large group! Thanks. Only comment is the house could have had a little more condiments, paper plates , bags, etc. I would still give them a 5 star review, just saying if they want to improve.

We have a big family and comfortably all stayed at this house (11 total people). Check in was seamless and very straightforward. It’s a lovely house with lots of character but we experienced some issues with leaky sinks and ants in the kitchen... hopefully they fix before the next people join. All in all it was a okay place to stay.

We stayed with our family of 8 and had plenty of room to spread out! Excellent host, clean house, comfortable beds and unique interior. All amenities provided. We loved our stay and highly recommend!

The house was very nice, easy to park outside and perfect for all 10 of us. I would recommend getting the lights of the stairs going down working - it was totally black and very dangerous. Also, we recommend getting a new set of pans.... The handle fell off as we were cooking.

I booked this house for a business trip with 5 other people. We arrived to find the house open and not cleaned, at all. I tried repeatedly to get ahold of the owner and got no help. The Support desk at VRBO did nothing to help as well. I was told I have to wait for the owner to issue a refund. He still hasn't called, emailed or texted. I had to scramble to find my party hotel rooms at 9pm at night.

This home was beautiful, large and clean. The kitchen had minimal essentials, light bulbs were burned out in several important locations. Several details were missing in the home to make our stay as expected.
