Information on check in was sent ahead of time and was easy to understand
There are 2 big windows but I felt you could not keep them open because there were people sitting in the square that could look in. No natural light in the bedroom.

The place was easy to access from the metro station and close to the city center. The apartment was spacious and the bed was good.
Unfortunately, my problems started upon arrival not being able to open the door. It opened, but then got stock . I tried calling the number they gave me , also sent messages (which were read), but no reaction. I was lucky that another guest was there to help me with some force and got it open. Then same problem to close the door I contacted again the staff via Booking and this time they finally reacted. The door issue remained and even got worse during my stay.
Ground floor apartment, not really the best to have with door and window directly on the street. I kept the windows almost always closed. The stairs were also strange...
I also had some scrawling insects in the bathroom, which I could live with, but then they came into the bedroom and that was not nice at all. Unfortunately none of my queries were solved and/or answered.
Although close to the metro, the area around was not really nice. Strange people hang around just in front of the entrance, being alone I did not feel safe at all. On top of that the door not closing well.... thus, Really bad service, unsafe and quite expensive for it all. Next time I will choose a hotel, which will surely be much better. This was a real disappointment.

We had a little trouble finding the apartment because our taxi dropped us off in the wrong location. Our host was VERY helpful in getting us to the right place. There are three doors that each have a code and the first time it was a little confusing. Again, our host was very helpful. We needed the extra directions.
Minor repairs are needed. The towel holder was falling off the wall, neither of the soap dispensers was working, the shower drains slowly A little attention to these details is needed, but overall, the apartment is quite nice.

- groups of men ‘hanging around’ in the area around the apartment 3 out of 3 nights
- when the automatic frontdoor lock didn’t open and we had to wait for a mechanic to fix it at midnight, we were told by the rental agent that we probably closed the door too firmly (which was not the case). Since the mechanic concluded the battery must have come loose. When we checked the lock afterwards, we saw this could happen when the lid isn’t completely clicked closed after changing the battery… We felt it was a bit rude to imply that we ourselves caused the problem.

The place was very clean, in a good spot. Close/wall distance to many see sights, good food very close, and the metro. Was secured and quiet.
We had just small problem with find the entrance to the place, bit maybe we was tired and was dark 😅

We arrived before checking in time but Luckily the cleaning lady was present to let us into the room to store the luggage. If she hadn’t seen us we would be stuck with luggage until mid afternoon .

quite good. Great location, quite big, nice renewed kitchen, very comfortable bed
the bath… the toilet is broken. it works, but it was laying on magazines since the wall was unable to hold it. we also had a problem with the bathtub stopper and had to take shower with water piling up. we did try to contact the hosts (both of them) via whatsapp and email, but it took them a lot to reply, and we had to solve it ourselves (my husband figured out a temporary solution). despite great messages from the hosts welcoming us and offering help if needed, we never had a real solution for the problem…)

The property was clean, quiet and felt secure. All windows open for ventilation and yet privacy is maintained. It is handy to Martim Moniz metro station. Great shower with lots of water pressure. Large fridge and separate freezer. Plenty of storage space and sufficient quantity of plates, cups, cutlery, pots, etc. Fairly large TV. Mini-mart and fruit market around the corner. The building has an elevator (lift).
Some written instructions on how to use the oven and the washing machine would have been helpful. There was no microwave. The hinges on one of the kitchen cabinets needed attention. It is uphill all the way to the property from the metro station.

All instructions were given before arrival and immediate service was quick and easy contacting them by Whatsapp. The location was safe and the hosts/service was kind.
We got stuck inside the apartment for a little while because the battery to lock the electronic apartment door was low but they came to fix it quickly.

clean modern apartment. we were only staying overnight in Lisbon so did not spend much time in the apartment except to sleep. bath tub was amazing
we had trouble finding the apartment as we were looking for number 57 on outside. added a bit of stress that morning of arrival. we ended up parking at the square and taking a taxi

Easy code access into the building, easy access to physical keys once we figured out the apartment door code wasn't working
It did take about 45 mins to get into the aparmtent bc it took some time to resolve the door code issue at the apartment door

Location was fantastic. The apartment was comfortable,clean and stylish. There is a great restaurant across the street! also, very secure.

The apartment is really nicely furnished and has everything you need for a nice stay. Located very close to transport and local sites. Recommend the nearby Aviz for a local spot for chicken and chips, as well as Vino Vero for wines and Damas for dinner.

The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures (we stayed on the 2nd floor, but Vila Olarias is a whole 3floor building of appartments to rent). It was super clean and tidy. The host (although we did not meet them - you will get a code to enter the apartment) was attentive and cared that we were having a good stay. The location is wonderful, perfect to move around and not depend on public transport.
