Gazdele sunt vesele si prietenoase si te fac sa te simti ca in vizita la rude. Mancarea este exceptionala, doar cu produse traditionale facute in casa. Pensiunea este foarte curata. In curte sunt pisicute jucause, caini frumosi si gainuse pitice, toate deosebite, o bucurie sa le vezi. Este liniste si dupa o zi de bantuit pe trasee montane dormi ca un bebelus si te trezesti ca nou. Recomand cu caldura aceasta pensiune in care voi reveni cu placere.

First, all guests should know that this us a living, thriving household, with small children and elderly people and animals; the B&B is only a part of the family enterprise. If that offends you, then the place is not for you. For me, it was a trip back in time; I grew up in a household like that. There are 3 big, mean looking guard dogs that proved to be very friendly (always appreciating a piece of your barbecue), chiken, pigs and cows, like one would see in any household in the Apuseni mountains. The road to the place was rough, lots of roadwork and infrastructure development, not suited for a low raise car. Check with the place, to see if the road has been repaired (it was in the works), if you have a small car. The village of Galbena-Arieseni is going through a lot of development work, as it becomes one of the newest tourist destination, hence the roadwork. The people are super-friendly and accomodating. The place is of breathtaking beauty, with a small creek through a pine forrest, just across the place. The property is big, with plenty of space to park. It's close to the ski resort and in driving distance from the Scarisoara ice cave and the Aries Valley attractions. We were welcomed with local strong moonshine and a very inviting homemade sour cherry liquor, delicious but very deceiving; I got tipsy after a few shots. The kitchen is big, very well supplied and available to the guests 24/7. Ask them how they put the fridge in, I still don't know how it was done and I'm an engineer. Once you get there, you'll see what I am talking about :-))) The room was very clean, a standard hotel room, with TV and bathroom. The housekeeping is done by request (it's not a hotel), but there are towels and toiletry available, should you need. The free wifi is strong and resilient in both the rooms and kitchen (we had lots of devices).

The road to the place; the side road between the place and the main road is about 2 km (1.2 miles) long of dirt road, ditches and comsttuction site (the township was upgrading the sewage system, and that required digging the road). The road is not suitable for small or low guard cars (thank goodness, we had neither, but it was still an adventure); I understand te township is going to asphalt it, once the sewage upgrade is done. The road serves several hotels and B&B-s in the area, so it's up and coming as a tourist hub. Ask Casa Cosmina if the road is repaired.

Quiet location between green hills and forests, in a still functional rural farm. Excellent confort and cleanliness, and very tasty cuisine that could be ordered on-site and which was freshly prepared daily by our hosts. Splendid!
