Idéalement placé, super communication avec pattie qui donne beaucoup de bons conseils sur les environs et les choses à faire.

De premier abord appartement très correct mais nous ne sommes pas en France et les habitudes d'hygiène sont différentes. Pour un Français il faudrait donc un peu plus de propreté mais tout est fourni, produits d'entretien, balais....

Schöne Unterkunft,zentral gelegen an der Westküste inmitten des Dorfes Layou. Man wohnt inmitten der Einheimischen und man muß schon ein bischen Musik mögen.Ansonsten toller Urlaub. Die Menschen sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

This house definitely was the highlight of our stay in Dominica. Such a great place right on the beach. So many amenities. Comfortable bed, nice jacuzzi, great view from the upper deck. Patty was a great host and gave suggestions when we needed some go sightseeing. She was easy to reach. Great place! Awesome view. Super clean. Patty's property manager, Scott, came by the first morning to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Be sure to eat next door at Mary's for local food. Sandy's across the street is great for a quick fried chicken and some bakes. Just a great place.

Un peu déçu par la propreté des lieux. Vu tous les commentaires élogieux sur ce logement, je m'attendais à mieux. Je pense que le ménage n'avait pas était fait après les précédents locataires : poils et cheveux dans la douche et le lavabo de la salle de bain et dans le lit. Toilettes pas nettoyés. Sol plein de poussières. Cependant, les sanitaires du haut étaient correctes, j'ai pu au moins prendre une douche. On a pas oser toucher au jaccuzzi. Il n'y avait pas de gaz pour cuisiner en bas. Cependant, le logement est au coeur de Layou un charmant village où les habitants sont très gentils, où nous étions très bien.

Le logement est très bien situé, non loin de la ville, village tres animé et achalandé pour se nourrir confortablement. Sans oublier la plage juste derrière le logement, une terrasse de rêve, vue sur mer et un terrain de foot sur sable que mes ados de fils ont appréciés! Super sejour et un agent immobilier tres accueillant très humain et chaleureux! Merci Scott, merci Patti Joel ét Beatrice

Grâce à la gentillesse des gens du quartier et à la qualité de la maison, nous avons passé un magnifique séjour en Dominique. La maison est parfaitement située entre Roseau et Portsmouth. La maison est très bien équipée et la terrasse est devenue notre endroit préféré pour partager nos petits-déjeunés et repas (demandez à Mary, la voisine, elle est une cuisinière hors-pair) ! : ) Nous remercions également Patti pour la qualité des conseils de visite. Seul petit bémol pour les personnes qui ont le sommeil léger : le quartier est populaire, vivant et chaleureux donc un peu bruyant mais pour les personne qui recherche l'authencité et qui aime la musique, cette maison est un petit paradis ! : ) Nous garderons un souvenir impérissable de notre séjour ! merci pour tout

The beach house was an interesting place. The top floor was wonderful. It had a nice view of the ocean with a constant breeze. It was great to be able to cook up there. The ocean was only a minute walk away. It was nice to be so close. The issues we had were with the sleeping situation. The loft got hot and stuffy and a couple of small windows didn't help. If you want quiet, this is not the place. The area was very noisy. Neighbors started playing music loudly and early and it continued into the night. Roosters started crowing at the crack of dawn. We could hear people talking in the streets until late. It was fun to mingle with the locals, but be prepared for noise. If you aren't used to it, it makes sleeping difficult. Overall, we did like being there.

Située près de la mer et dans le village, Beach House a un bon emplacement. Nous avons pu profiter de la beauté de la mer dans le jacuzzi situé sur la terrasse. Nous avons profité des petits commerçants locaux pour découvrir quelques spécialités. La maison ne manque de rien (prévoir quelques adaptateurs supplémentaires pour l'électricité). Encore merci à Boy pour ses bons conseils (commerçant juste à côté de la maison).

My stay in Villa Verde Salisbury was fantastic! The home is very well taken care of and provided everything I needed – ample space including living room and kitchen, laundry and a beautiful view and ocean breeze to top it off. The owners have a very nice patio with hammocks perfect for napping. I would recommend this vacation rental to any single or couple coming to the beautiful island for adventure and relaxation.

The house was very clean and well maintained, and also had several "no-fly" items like shampoo, lotion and sunscreen available when I arrived. The location in Layou is beautiful! Also it is a great place to meet locals, get food and supplies, and has a bus stop less than a quarter mile away (although the buses often come right to the front door too!). All of the neighbors were very friendly and helpful in making my first trip to Dominica unforgettable. Patricia was an ideal host to rent from. She gave me invaluable information to help me with booking my flights from the US and learning more about Dominica, how to get around and where to go for any touring services I could've desired. Her responses to all of my inquires were always prompt, clear and concise. Her neighbor Scott was also very helpful. He showed me around the house, introduced me to the other neighbors, bought groceries for me for my first day or two, and left his contact numbers in case I needed anything else. Thank you Scott! Read a few reviews that said the internet there didn't work sometimes or was spotty, but I did not experience that problem at any time throughout the week I was there. The internet was always connected and decently fast; a great luxury as I had no cell service anywhere on the island. Overall I couldn't have been happier with my rental choice. I highly recommend this location for first timers in Dominica as well as returning visitors, and would love to stay there again when I go back. The unmatched price/location is definitely a huge plus, without sacrificing quality or comfort in any way. I give my highest regard to both the house itself and the owner/host.
