Maison élégante et confortable dans un cadre boisé rural sur 2 acres privées, et à seulement 10 minutes à pied de la ville. Suite King chambre principale dispose d'une vue panoramique sur la forêt, baignoire en marbre et une entrée séparée. Grande chambre en forme de L en forme de L avec 2 lits Queen, un sur chaque jambe du «L»; Canapé sectionnel avec 54 "HDTV, salle de bain privée et entrée séparée. Deux chambres supplémentaires ont tous deux lits Queen et partagent un bain. Cuisine, WIFI, Cheminée / poêle à bois, barbecue à gaz et de 50 pieds le pont entièrement équipée.

We had a great visit with friends in this cozy and well-supplied house near Woodstock town center. We especially loved the fireplace and appreciated the clean and stocked kitchen and pantry. Alan was a thoughtful and thorough host.

Our group traveled from various cities and met in Woodstock to share a very festive three night Thanksgiving holiday. The house is super comfortable and the open plan made it lots of fun to prepare many dishes then sit down together and share a beautiful turkey dinner with all the trimmings. A bounty of thanks to Alan and Carol!

This was a sister’s getaway. There were 4 of us & we each had our own bedroom! This house is just terrific…,very clean, had everything you need in the kitchen, very comfortable beds, nice big dining room table, great bathrooms, a big deck overlooking the woods. So enjoyed feeding the deer as they strolled by near dusk. A real gem in the country yet so close to great restaurants. Woodstock has great shops a short walk from the house, plus we went to the CIA one day for lunch then a tour of the Vanderbilt mansion. The Red Onion restaurant is about 2 miles away & is fabulous! We ate at the house one night, so we could enjoy the house itself, watch TV, listen to music and flip through a great collection of cook books, travel books etc. Our host Alan was just wonderful to work with! Highly recommend!

Great hosts. Lovely house. Perfectly located. Had lots of fun exploring Woodstock and the surrounding areas during the day. Enjoyed coming back to the house the relax on the back deck, cook dinner and have some family time.

We just spent a wonderful week long vacation in this beautiful home. Perfectly situated in the surrounding woods yet just a short walk to town. Loved the well stocked kitchen and having all the paper products already provided was a real plus. Our host was very accommodating to the few special requests we made.

Located in a sweet spot, within minutes walk to favorite restaurants and shops in Woodstock. Yet the house feels like it's in the middle of the woods -- very peaceful. Can easily accommodate parties of 6-8 people comfortably. House has everything one might need to cook for and relax with family and friends. Great gas grill with enough space for everybody's hamburgers, steaks or fish. Short drives to our favorite trails. Incredibly responsive owner to boot. Can't wait to return.

The beds were great, the rooms spacious, the kitchen well stocked. Large tables for eating both inside and out, and the woodsy setting was just lovely.

Walking distance to the town of Woodstock. Waking up to deer roaming the backyard. 40 minute drive to Hunter. This property was exactly what we hoped for and more.

We could not have had a better time in Woodstock anywhere else. The property management was attentive and flexible, even salting the driveway extensively during a snowstorm. The house is large, warm and inviting. Would definitely stay here again!

Alan's place is simply wonderful; comfortable and welcoming and big enough to easily host 10+ without being on top of each other - and more if just there for a dinner. The rooms are big, the beds are comfy (and big; no fulls or twins!), there's pleanty of table/counter space for eating and the kitchjen has everything you can imagine (and some things you might not imagine)! Alan is an awesome host as well; instant communication, answers any questions, can tell you where to go (and where not!), and gives great tips. I never knew bears could open car doors!!! :) We've stayed twice just this year, and if we have another event in the Hudson Valley, we'll be back!

What a lovely home with attention to every detail. We stayed for three nights and had a great time. Walking distance to town with wonderful food and shops. 20 min ride to Kingston which also had lots to do. Plenty of space for a family or friends getaway!!

There are many beautiful items and art in the house which made it feel very homey. This rental worked perfectly for my family.

A winter’s retreat…
Woodstock. Our favorite place! Our retreat to unplug, detach and recharge. Alan’s home was the perfect place for our winter retreat!
Alan was so wonderful with his communication and met us upon arrival to show us around his home and answer any questions.
His home is clean, comfortable and had a variety of books, games and a fully stocked pantry to help make our stay incredibly comfortable and easy.
The layout of the home is ideal for groups, especially families with children.
The view out the back deck to the expansive woods was wonderful and the kids loved seeing the animals walk by!
The walk into town was quick, easy and safe - taking a few side roads to Mill Street.
We are so grateful we found Alan’s home and were able to spend a long weekend enjoying all Woodstock has to offer!

Wonderful Woodstock stay!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We met Alan on arrival and he was a gracious host. We had a couple of issues with TV and fireplace and Alan went above and beyond to address these immediately. The home is furnished with everything we could possibly need. Everything is as pictured. The weather didn't allow for much time on the deck, but when we were out, the deer came right up to visit. Very comfortable and inviting home. There were only 4 of us. Very spacious and room for several more.

Cousins Weekend
This property just exceeded our expectations! We are 8 cousins who spend a much needed weekend away every year. The home is beautiful, very clean & so we’ll stocked. We all felt like we were home. The owner Alan was so helpful by chatting with me when we first got there as to manage the heat, lights etc. Of all the homes we have been to this was by far the absolute best! Thank you Alan & Carol we hope to visit again!

Great House!
Carol's house is beautifully decorated, large and very comfy! My family of 6 adults had plenty of room. The kitchen is well appointed...we had everything we needed to cook several great meals. Great dining table. The lovely deck overlooks a back yard and woods. One would think they were way out in the wilderness, but it's actually just a short walk into the town of Woodstock. I would definitely stay again if we make it back to the Woodstock area.

Secluded and quaint- but less than a mile from downtown Woodstock.
Carol's home is lovely and cozy! The home easily accommodates large families- there is a king bed in the master suite. Also in the master is a large port hole window. It was beautiful to wake up and see snowflakes falling softly through the porthole.
There are resident squirrels that knock on the front door and then peek inside through the glass panels by the door.
The home has everything you need to cook a full meal for a large family. And a dining table that seats 8 comfortably. There is a wood burning fireplace and a lovely over sized porch that looks out on a nature area.
I loved everything about this property-including the owner's. They welcomed me personally and had a few staples in the refrigerator in case I was hungry when I arrived.
The people in Woodstock were warm and friendly! The restaurants were excellent!
I will definitely return-only next time I'll bring my family!

Perfect
This was the perfect house in the perfect location. I was there with 3 woman friends to attend the annual NY Sheep & Wool Festival in Rhinebeck. We like the atmosphere of Woodstock, and love our annual shopping trips downtown. The house is perfectly equipped, and oh so comfortable for hours of knitting and conversation and laughter. Carol was so easy to deal with and provided everything we needed to know. We hope to rent this house again next year!

Our stay in Woodstock at this beautiful home away from home truly exceeded any expectations I imagined . We all loved It’s charm , coziness, and convenient proximity to the center of town. I am already looking forward to staying there again. The owner is lovely and gave us such great info about all things to do in Woodstock. She was very kind made our stay a delightful experience.
