Great location Lovely lady to look after us

The only good thing about this deluxe apartment, it was very central to Alvor.

I would avoid staying in this apartment at all costs. We had a horrible stay in this apartment as the pictures are completely different to the actual apartment. The pool was really dirty which we brought to the owners attention and done nothing about it. The mattresses were so uncomfortable and didn’t even have mattress sheets on them. It’s 2021 and the place doesn’t even have wifi which is shocking! The kitchen was very dirty when we arrived and the tea towels were like sand paper. The owner had 18 months during COVID to put money into this apartment and do it up but never put a cent into it. There is no washing machine or BBQ has stated in the summary so this is false advertisement and also no CCTV on the outside of the property.

The location is really peaceful, city centre is really close and the rooms all have air conditioners that are really silent. The walking distance to the beach is really nice and its a nice walk. The balcony area with the table outside is great for sitting and enjoying an outdoor lunch/dinner

It wasn't clear for us that the house owners lived in the ground floor of the house and the stay was only on the top floor, but it didn't impact our stay, just a feedback for future reference Also the fact that we had to have a cash deposit of 60€ wasn't mentioned and we only got the email on the departure day, we didn't have the chance to prepare and we had to go out to a ATM (that fortunately we had passed a pingo doce really near the house and went back to withdraw the money). The barbeque are would also benifit from a support table, and some barbeque utencils (simple things like a spatula or BBQ tongs or forke to turn meat/fish, and a manual fan would be really helpfull otherwise people that don't have a BBQ at home will need to buy these utensils for single time use at this house... Finally the fact that the pool want ready wen we arrived was a bit of a bummer... the solar orientation of the house isn't ideal and sun only hits the pool from 12h to 17h and on the first day we didn't get almost any pool time... a bit of preparation on that part would have been nice.

The house was nice, the beach wasnot far and was nice also.

The bad in the living room was not so comfortable for sleeping. It was comfortable only for sitting.
