We visited Levanto mainly to discover the Cinque Terre villages as well as Sestri Levante, and Levanto is certainly the place to live in! The train runs often and costs no more than 5€ to get to the cinque terre or other nearby villages. The main advantage living in Levanto is certainly that you don’t have to deal with the absurd amount of tourists that there is in the Cinque Terre. The village is far more genuine and also larger so the people are more spread out. For the apartment itself: - Check in/out was very smooth with absolutely no issues, also great that cleaning afterwards was included. - Location; the apartment was right by the old church, a quiet yet centrally located street. Therefore you get both cozy restaurants, bars and shopping close by and silence during the sleep. The beach is also a very short walk from the apartment. - The apartment itself was very clean, fresh and modern, despite lying in the old part of town. It also had all the necessities we needed. - Very priceworthy!

A minor issue is the church bell. Every quarter it goes off, although mostly only a small number of soft bangs. It is quite cozy, but sometime between 7 & 8am it sounds very loud and wakes you up almost every time. However this is just once during the morning and the other times it is easy to sleep through!

Size of apartment wich was lovely, excellent with washing machine. Pillows were amazing!

Church bells right outside the house, no balcony.

Close to the sea, to different supermarkets and restaurants, to the route to Monterosso. Large area, a good enough kitchen. Good beds. The church nearby can be used as a 7.30 am alarm :)

The apartment is very wet, and the bathroom is a nightmare -- there is always some water on the floor, and practically impossible to remove it. The air ventilation works quite badly there.

Lovely appartment. Exceptionally clean. Easy access. Inside the old part of town, close to the beach and all necessary shops and restaurants. Loved it.

No compaints as long as you are an early riser and like church bells.

Beds very comfortable. Loved the power shower! Roomy, central, 5 min. Walk to the beach and /or commercial area with boutiques/restos...

Liked all.., pricey but understand it is a trendy touristy area

The location was perfect nice quiet street.

As non smokers we noticed the bed / bedding smelt like smokers had been using it. Didn't like having to clean the apartment before we left
