Room was spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. Pets are catered for. Housekeeping staff do their job very well and were excellent. Reception Staff were pleasant and accommodating.

Bar Staff were non-engaging and not very friendly. No interest in having a conversation with you and no interest in putting up your drink the way you like it......just the way they do it! We went to a lovely pub around the corner for our drinks after that!!!!! Card only, so make sure your cash is spent somewhere else or loaded on a card.

All the hiiden costs and 'extras' such as Breakfast not included. No meal deal and the service charge being added without any mention of a 'service' charge. To be fair I didn't actually get great (or in fact any) service in the restaurant. Noisy from about 0400hrs, so didn't get a great nights sleep either.

Stayed here the previous week and had a wonderful experience. Staff were great and food was lovely.

During this stay i tried to order room service for my evening meal. I was in the area for business and had a lot of work to complete for an important presentation the next day. I tried calling the number given for room service and after numerous attempts had to go down to reception as no one was picking up. I used room service the previous week and although the phone wasn't answered on the first attempt, i was called back minutes later. After 3 trips to reception and a wait of over 2 hours and still no food, i had to resort to finding a chip shop just down the road! I then though a bath before bed would to ideal, so ran the bath. No cold water at all only scolding hot. Way above the 48 deg C legal limit. About 40 kettles of cold water from the sink cooled it enough to use. I've probably complained about 3 times in my life as i generally just get on and deal with things. I should have made you aware of this on the night, to give someone a chance to sort out, but in all honesty, the whole evening had been a complete nightmare and last thing i wanted to do was start packing things up and moving to another room. I had an early start and by this time, a bed was very much needed.

There was no hot water on both mornings that I was here. I was moved rooms but the water was still cold.

Nice spacious room. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Location is convenient for Westwood Business Park. Biscuits with coffee maker are a nice touch.

Lack of plugs in the room, there was not one beside the bed. Service charge added to restaurant bill. In a restaurant service is expected as part of the experience not an add on charge.

Fabulous property - lovely bedrooms. Hosts have been very thoughtful and really made our stay fabulous! Will definitely be back!

Easy to find, most staff friendly and helpful, room and communal areas all clean, house keeping did a thorough job of cleaning and resetting the room each day, plenty of parking available, quite characterful for a chain hotel, comfortable mattress, nice fluffy towels, choice of hot drinks available in the room and the biscuits were a nice touch.

Room looking a bit tired and worn, curtain track broken so wouldn’t fully draw together then when I managed to wiggle the runner across there was a gap down the side letting light in. Pillows old and lumpy, one pillow case had a stain on it. Extractor in bathroom didn’t work most of the time then came on in the middle of the night for no reason and sounded like a jumbo jet taking off! Deliveries made right below my window every morning with little effort made to contain the noise.

It was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. Staff at the restaurant and the bar in the morning were lovely and friendly.

Staff at the reception was extremely rude (especially two girls, one guy was polite). Non existent Wi-Fi service in my room and hot water barely working in the morning for a shower.

The Bed was very comfortable, Bath room well equipped with a deep bath and shower. Breakfast was very good with a great choice to choose from. Coffee was hot.

Booked a Executive Double Room with View. The Room we were allocated I believe was a Comfort Double Room which had a put you up extra bed in the room which reduced the space The View from the room (see attached photo) was to say the least not what I expected. We complained but ended up with what we were given.

The location is good and the breakfast and meals were very good

Fobbed off with a twin room to begin with which I had changed and there was an eight person queue to reception when I arrived and only one person on, they don’t serve meals in the bar after 5pm and they wouldn’t give me a receipt for the room when I checked out

Very outdated , our “superior room with a view” had a view of a brick wall and a fence and the room wasn’t well cleaned and very old decor as was the building . Wifi was very unreliable .

Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and warm plates. Rooms were up to standard very posh and comfy bed. Lots of choice for food, restaurant was very nice. Decor makes hotel look very fancy and modern. Very clean and tidy. Nice area and plenty of parking.

Not enough staff on reception and too many staff in restaurant. No room service and not enough sachets for hot drinks in room.

The hotel WiFi was shockingly bad. I stayed in a family room quite a way from reception, and was told that the WiFi kept disconnecting because we were too far from reception to have a strong signal. Mobile phone reception was only 3G, total internet connection was lost from the WiFi at points throughout our stay which was disappointing.
