The hotel location is very good and the service during breakfast was supergood. Lift is very-very fast. There was a tea set in the special locker with cookies and good variation of teas and sugar. Even the milk was available. There was a little wardrobe with very many hangers. It also contained a small safe and ironing table with iron and trousers hemming machine! There was the electric outlet near the table so it is very convinient to charge the phone or charge/use a laptop for an example. Also there were three nightstands and control unit for the lights nearby. The bathroom had a bath and finally I found the hotel where the tap is working normally - hot and the cold water were not separated. There also was a very big towel and the bathroom was well equipped with shower gel, shampoo and even a body lotion. Also shower cap was available.

Due the delay unfortunately we arrived very-very late and it took almost a ten minutes to figure it out that the door bell does not working. The staff was okay in general, but nothing special. They vere polite, but not friendly. For this price (more than 200€ per night) I was expecting a lot-lot more from this hotel. The duvet cover was way to big for the duvet. The wifi is very-very slow and practically unusable for the work. The breakfast was very-very basic but covers the basic needs. For an example the hard boiled eggs were not available and fresh variation of fresh vegetables and fishes were very basic. The orange juice was very light - mixed with water.

The room was relatively spacious and nicely decorated. Our room faced the street and it was very quiet. The future and facilities are a bit old, but very stylish and in good condition.

Great location! You could get anywhere, less then 10 minutes walk and there are plenty different transports. Westminster abbey just 10 minutes away. Quite and beautiful street.

It's pretty old hotel. Everything is worn out: bath, sink, cabinets... Don't expect anything fancy.

I felt like I was back in the 1800's it was absolutely fabulous.

The location is perfect. Five minutes walk from Westminster Abbey yet very quiet area. Staff very helpful and well mannered. Nice bar area. Not too touristy yet very central. Good value for money. Near to bus stops although the main landmarks are within walking distance. Overall, very pleasant stay.

The bathroom was getting very steamy after showers. Perhaps a ventilation system could help.

We came back to the hotel after a lunch at the Shard (as it was our Golden Wedding Anniversary) and we found half a bottle of champagne and a slate of assorted chocolates on the table. Also, rose petals strewn along the floor and towels made into a swan design. It was a lovely surprise and made our weekend more special. We have been to this hotel before a few years ago. We will come again. It is only a 5-10 minutes walk from Victoria Station and Underground Station. Behind Westminster Cathedral. Easy access everywhere including Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, etc. We have recommended this hotel to all our friends!

It was very bad hotel in my experience. The cost doesn`t corespond at all to the conditions.

The towels were durty. Dust everywhere! The administration intended to apply illegal practice to charge a fine for mess, but about mess was not truth. Be carefull!!!!

The hotel was small but full of character. The staff on reception were helpful. The room was spacious clean and great value for money.

The room was a little warm and the quilts were thick. I suggest you turn the radiator down before going to sleep.

4 person room

We stayed 6 nights. Breakfast was terrible. Hot food was barely warm. Yogurts were warm. Staff came around with tea and coffee in pots they kept out the back so it was luke warm. There is no way you would risk eating any meat from the “cold” buffet as NOTHING was at the correct temperature. You had to ask for toast, which was made out the back. some days they only had white bread. Most staff could not speak English to help with requests. Housekeeping was abysmal. We were a family of 4 and housekeeping would never leave 4 cups/glasses/ towels/ body wash etc. It was 2 or 3 or none. On day 3, housekeeping left 3 towels, NO TOILET PAPER AND NO SOAPS OR TOILETRIES. On day 4 I left a written list at the front desk stating 4 of each thing we required to be replenished. Still did not happen. On our last night before checkout we were given 6 towels and 25 toiletries. Ridiculous. Absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I do not know how they apparently have such a high rating.

Front of house staff on check-in, rude, worst I’ve ever experienced. Shouting at her co-workers. Coldest welcome I’ve ever got to a hotel, zero interest in the customer. Staff in the breakfast room lacked any experience. the breakfast was a complete waste of money, was told it was hot so I paid for it, it was a continental style but very basic. milk for cereal left in a glass jug beside a hot unit for warming pastry. took 15min to be asked if we wanted tea or coffee, not even offered toast looked to be available as other people were eating it. No drinking water left in our room Bar in hotel wasn’t really a bar as it only severed a section of sprits, no draft beers at all. was informed it was 24hr for residents but on arrival it closed at 11pm

Location is very good and quiet, can walk to central London. Breakfast room is small and can be crowded at time but breakfast was good and the young ladies working the breakfast room did a fine job. Seen some reviews about the beds but I have no complaints about them and had a good night's sleep. Check in and out was very good and staff very friendly and helpfull

For a 4* hotel they need to check rooms are ready we had a bedside light not working, needs more electric sockets and if a room is a double why only one chair would be better with two
