Room was very clean and spacious (even single room). It is better than photos that i saw. The place around hotel was beautiful. Taste of dinner was great. People in reception, restaurant..are all very very kind. I really really like this place and want to stay more if possbile.
The only thing that i want is..English menu for dinner and breakfast. It is difficult to understand German to me. :)

Location was great… the spa was nice.
Everything is in German, they have no menu or information in English. The hotel is a bit outdated and they were renovating. Service was slow.

The breakfast and the dinner were very good. To swim in the pool it was necessary to make a date, so that never were more than 12 persons around.

The location of this classical hotel in the middle of nature. Fantastic starting point for (easy) walking through the Sauerland forests, with clear indications of routes. The hotel itself is classical, with renovated (comfort) rooms, absolutely quiet and very well equipped. Personnel very friendly and helpfull; good breakfast and (a la carte) restaurant.
Due to the extreme high temperature during our stay, we missed air-conditioning, but under normal circumstances the rooms are comfortably cool. We noticed a shortage of service personnel in this fully booked hotel. Just a remark: the hotel-guests are mainly elderly people, which makes it less suitable for young families with kids.
