Beautifully situated in a huge well-kept park. It felt like colonial times.
Pleasant, intimate pool and spa in pretty houses among the trees. We did not expect that, despite the location in the city center, it would be so peaceful. There were peacocks everywhere, which added charm to this place. One of the few hotels in the world that I would like to return to if I am there again.
A very elegant Indian restaurant, where the staff put the food on the table on the plate, which made us feel uncomfortable. The food was good but there was no spirit of India. Food more for tourists than local flavors. We definitely recommend the restaurants by the old train.

The Taj Rambagh Palace hospitality is visible from the gate to the reception, front office, house keeping, dining. You are staying in a piece of history and Taj team ensures that your stay is memorable. Peacocks give you company everywhere. The historical tour, the horse buggy ride, the train restaurant. You will end up loving the Taj team who go all out to enhance the experience of your stay.
There is nothing you cannot like at Rambagh Palace.

This historic palace is surrounded by a beautiful park. It is an exceptional place to enjoy Jaipur.
The rooms are palatial and elaborately decorated.
Service in the hotel is exceptional. There are two restaurants, one of them with Indian cuisine. Restaurant staff are attentive to your every wish. They are very friendly and competent.
An exceptional place to live unforgettable moments.

We have stayed at the Rambagh Palace twice before (although you would know so in terms of any guest recognition). Fabulous suite last time… this time simply ‘ok’. it felt like the unloved ‘suite’. Tye bookshop is great, and one particular manager in the breakfast restaurant was very guest focused as was one receptionist. Others seemed untrained and disinterested. so many small mistakes take fed what should have been a fabulous visit.
The service ethic has mostly disappeared since the pandemic. For example - no door staff, reception staff (except 1 person) didn’t even bother to acknowledge us. The hotel IT databases are so out of date BUT even when you correct your ‘address’, ‘email’ & phone number they simply don’t bother to update them. it’s also a very poor experience to print out your final bill on the reverse of someone else’s bill. That’s cheap and doesn’t suggest there is any customer ID or info security.

The hotel is the most beautiful architecture I've ever been before. The service was very impressive beginning with reception, restaurant, and hotel staff. The indoor and outdoor were stunning with good service.

The hotel is stunning! You feel like living in a Palace, not only for the architecture, but also for the hospitality. The staff is extremely well prepared and always ready to help, they pay attention in every detail and it makes the difference. I want to specially thanks Mr. Yogndra, in my second day I was with a little sore throat and he helped me preparing a ginger tea with herbs that made me feel way better! These level of care is what made the difference for us.
I also want to highlight how welcomed we felt with all the service provided by Rakesh, AmarSingh and Sarjeet they helped us understanding the local dishes and to try local meals. We really appreciated our two days there.
It is quite expensive!

Exceptional is the word which sums up everything about this place. The old world charm of the palace merging seamlessly in the modern day five star amenities and comforts - a rare combination!
Nothing that comes to the mind easily. Everything just falls in place in this timeless paradise. Difficult to complain about anything, really!

As a family of 4, we stayed in Rambagh Palace for couple of nights. When you stay here, you don't just stay in a Taj Hotel, you reside in history. One gets to experience a glimpse into the life of the iconic Maharani Gayatri Devi. The rooms of the Maharani, and of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II, have been preserved exquisitely by the Taj group. A ride in the Maharani's vintage Mercedes, and in the horse drawn carriage would give you the feel not only of royalty, but of the way of life of the Maharani. And not to miss is a dip in the indoor pool, specially made for the Maharani by the Maharaja. But the highlight of the stay would undoubtedly be a dinner at Suvarna Mahal restaurant with its gold plated cutlery, crockery from Versace, high ceilings with Florentine frescoes. To imagine that it once hosted 80 guests with 80 individual butlers, and at that time to have pure gold (not plated) cutlery - would put anyone with a taste for history in awe. We were actually attended to by the personal butler of the Maharani, Shri Kishanji, who enthralled us with tales of the Maharani's food preferences and some of her distinguished and celebrity guests. Good food of course, but one doesn't dine here for the food - its for the history of the place.
We thouroughly enjoyed our stay in Rambagh Palace, and the Taj truly does justice to maintain and give the guests a feel of the romantic history of the palace.
Special thanks first of all to Mr Ashok Rathore, GM Rambagh Palace, for meeting us and ensuring that we had a great stay. Thanks to Ms Swati Singh, of reception, for the smooth check in and check out, and for showing us around.
In summary, I would say no trip to India can be complete without a stay at this iconic palace, given its romantic history, and its impeccable maintenance by the Taj group of hotels.
Everything was perfect.
