It's a hidden treasure at Wolfgangsee's most spectacular village, Sankt Wolfgang. Right at the Lake. If you like creative, stylish, art-focused interiors, you will enjoy the design as we did. And also the 25-meter-long infinity pool, which looks at the Lake. The breakfast is served, and similar every day, but they vary it slightly, so not boring.:) SUP is regular equipment at the property; you don't need to rent it; just enjoy it on those rare sunny days.:) And the staff is amicable.
If you can afford the lake view room, choose that because the other side is on the main street. It was a bit noisy.

This hotel is excellent, the location, the way it is set up, the vibe, the breakfast, the lake, the indoor pool, the employees and the owner, everything was exceptional, I highly recommend it

The special, modern design with art’s elements, the decorations, the clean and good maintaining conditions, the nice and friendly manner of the staffs, and the super nice boss gave us comfortable and relaxing staying experience! Also, the breakfast was perfect, the food was good and the juice was very fresh!
The design of the showering area is defective, the water came out unavoidable and made the floor of the bathroom very wet .

Everything went well for our stay. Wonderful large lake front room, cozy, homely furnishings and a fantastic view!
The best part were the hosts and excellent service from top to bottom.
No issues other than we wished we could have stayed longer than just one night.

Cortisen am See is the best hotel we have ever experienced. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake, the beds were quite comfortable, the shower terrific. The breakfast was superb and served in the hotel's lovely restaurant. The infinity pool is a gem. The location is excellent- located between the two St. Wolfgang docks. Good restaurants are on premises, right next door and one across the street. Lush landscaping in a wonderful town for bike riding and hiking.
The elevator is a bit snug and slow but we enjoyed using the wide staircase to scamper up and down (good exercise).

There is nothing not to like. Owners are absolutely wonderful and make the entire experience very nice. A rare thing to be completely relaxed after just a day of checking in. The rooms, breakfast, outdoor setup was all perfect. Look forward to returning!

Excellent location with lake access, scenic views from rooms, and good selection of nearby/walkable shops and restaurants. excellent breakfast and pleasant staff. Paddleboards available to use and right next to bike rental and Schafberg hiking trail.
The room was a bit too warm for sleeping comfortably on some nights without air conditioning available. Leaving the door open let in some light noise from nearby hotels into the later evenings while a water ski motor boat started early every morning. Having a fan may have helped both issues (air circulation and white noise).

This hotel is fantastic!
The service was incredibly attentive, always ensuring our needs were met.
The breakfast and dinner were great - the food was very elegant and tasty.
The location is brilliant, right in the centre and on the lake. The pool had stunning views of the mountains.
We used the paddle boards at the hotel which was a lovely addition. The massage was wonderful.
The room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the lake with a balcony.
Overall a brilliant stay and would definitely recommend!

For this price, one would expect basic things such as air conditioning, noise proof rooms, complimentary water in rooms.
Do not accept room 309!! It is as if you are sleeping in the streets! You will wake up with the beautiful sounds of delivery trucks.

The room was a liile too warm for sleeping but after opening the balcon door we slept well.

The new design is absolutely beautiful, great atmosphere, big clean rooms, the garden is very nice .. in general a good place to be
the breakfast wasn’t that good.. definitely not what you expect from a place like this .. you don’t get any information regarding services on check in.. WiFi password.. anything.. the bar closes at 23:00, and it’s ok, but we where sitting there the the hotels owner wife, just told us very rudely that they are closing the bar .. they started to close everything 15 minutes before .. even the ventilation.. it was a Saturday evening.. and they made us feel very unwelcome ..

Price is high but totally worth it in a touristic spot as St.Wolfgang in summer. The room had a big Balcony with Lake views where you could lay and sunbathing. The breakfast was good and in big quantity, with lake views. Personal were really nice and helpful.
We were just one night so couldn't use everything 100% (there was gym, massages etc..) . Recommendable if you can minimum 2-3 nights!!!
