Quanto amplo e confortável, cama grande e macia

Ótimo bar no lobby. Área verde muito tranquila. Quarto excelente, bom tamanho e muito confortável. Banheiro excelente. Bela vista.
Não me recordo de nada que tenha desagradado. Tudo foi muito bom.

Central location and nice large room. The shower pressure was excellent!
The breakfast offering was a bit limited for a 5 star hotel. For example, cappuccino came at an extra cost, which is not common for a hotel of this level.

The hotel was very clean.
Not worth the price.

lovely old style hotel with a garden for the guests. spacious and comfortable rooms.
a bit pricey

The hotel was comfortable and well appointed, but in comparison with Alvear Arts is overpriced and less

comfortable room
we were overcharged. reception staff inefficient and disorganised. despite being told one person would be checking out at the usual check out time of noon they came to the door of the room and called twice asking why I had not checked out earlier and disturbed my rest

Room was well appointed, spacious and quiet. Gardens were pleasant. Waiting staff and concierge staff were helpful and friendly.
Check in staff were rude and unhelpful - an elderly lady didn't have a credit card and check in staff refused to let her into her prepaid room, providing her with no options. Staff were dismissive and unhelpful when asked about late checkout. Pool was indoors and reeked of chlorine - breathing was difficult. Gym had short hours and closed at 1800, useless for most visitors who checked in during late afternoon.

clean with rooms nicely decorated and well appointed
The main issue revolves around check out. When paying on checkout I was charged almost double the price agreed on BOOKING.COM which was a real shock. This apparently was due to a new rule around exchange rates when using credit cards, something I was given no warning about by BOOKING.Com.
I had to enter a dispute with my bank to get some of it back but I still paid more than the agreed price. We used the same credit card at restaurants, shops and bars on dozens of occasions throughout our stay and nowhere else did we pay more than the posted price and no one charged an exchange rate that was double the official exchange rate. only the Hotel Emperador.
The hotel also preauthorised a credit card which was later cancelled as I paid with a different card but a small charge of £7.11 still went through.
The breakfast was poor quality, it looked great and had a lot on offer but it was poor quality food.
We were charged for bottles of still water in the room. Normally in a hotel charging this amount, these would be complementary but here they are not, just a small thing and I suppose I should have asked.
The location isn’t great. It’s on a busy road that overlooks the railway marshalling yards and port freight container port.

Be careful, this hotel charges not only water, but also those 2 coffee pods that we found in the room, it's good that we didn't say that we used soap, maybe we would have had to pay extra for that too.
They write Tea/coffee maker in all rooms, but everything is paid extra, and besides, the coffee in the rooms doesn't taste good at all, it's better to look for a cafe nearby.
They have no idea about slippers, they don't know that they can be at all, I'm not talking about bathrobes.
It's better not to buy anything at the bar, the barman's arrogance and conceit exceeds all imagination, but when checking out, you will have to explain for a long time at the reception, because the bar will add more than one foreign bill to your room.
If you ask to call a taxi, you will have to wait > 30 min. it's better to catch it yourself on the street. I visit more than 25-30 hotels a year, this one was very disappointing

Stayed in a corner suite at the end of our Antarctic trip as a treat. It was large, nicely decorated and clean. Cost £270 ($322.50) but paid £361 including water (see below)
The main issue revolves around check out. When paying on checkout I was again charged almost double the price agreed on BOOKING.COM. This apparently was due to a new rule around exchange rates when using credit cards, something I was given no warning about by BOOKING.Com.
I will again dispute this with my bank to get some of it back. see previous review. We used the same credit card at restaurants, shops and bars on dozens of occasions throughout our stay and nowhere else did we pay more than the posted price and no one charged an exchange rate that was double the official exchange rate. only the Hotel Emperador.
The breakfast was poor quality, it looked great and had a lot on offer but it was poor quality food. (watery scrambled eggs, inedible bacon, stale pastries, Luke warm coffee)
We were charged for bottles of still water in the room. Normally in a hotel charging this amount, these would be complementary but here they are not, just a small thing and I suppose I should have asked. The receptionist also asked if we had used the Nespresso machine because this was also changeable. something I have never encountered in any hotel of any quality anywhere in the world.
The location isn’t great. It’s on a busy road that overlooks the railway marshalling yards and port freight container port.

Clean and centrally located near to Ricoleta. The garden was very beautiful and well kept. The breakfast was also pretty good.
The room was a bit dated and the in-room facilities were not very good for the price. For example, no
bathroom slippers or bathrobes.

Breakfast was overpriced. Much better options elsewhere. The Serena hotel is three blocks away and includes a free breakfast that is better quality.
Hotel restaurant options were not available or as advertised. We didn't learn dinner was not available until too late and all nearby restaurants were already booked. We ended up grabbing food from the Shell station next door.

Staff were good and I loved the pool
The impression of the hotel is that they are penny pinching and after every penny they can squeeze out of the customer ie - no bath robes or slipper
ie - you have to pay extra at breakfast for a decent cup of coffee or an omelette
Ive always found Argentinian hospitality very welcoming but that was not my impression here and It would stop me staying here on another occasion, due to the cutting of corners. Looks like an accountant has been at work

Big rooms with big comfortable beds. nice bar area and garden. Easy walk to Retiro, Recoleta and 9 de Mayo.
Front rooms suffer from being on a busy road (though this is the case for many BA hotels). Ask for a garden room.
10.0
The shower was fantastic and the beds very comfortable.
The charged coffee, bad coffee and they charge it.
10.0
The staff was very accommodating, friendly and professional. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Great night sleeps. The shower by far the best feature.
For the price of the hotel, they shouldn't charge for the coffee and mineral water. They are basics that even hostels include.
They should change the coffee maker for a electric kettle, makes it less messy.
