I only had supper which was good.
Furniture in the rooms need some attention and cleanliness as well. The price I pay is for a five star facility but the experience is not for a five star establishment.

Staff were friendly and the room was very nice and spacious. Meals - very generous portions and I liked the fire in the dining room. Liked having a fridge and kettle available. Safe parking.
Received an sms stating that I could book supper via a return sms, but when we arrived on the first evening we were informed that we were supposed to phone to book for supper.
Information on the internet regarding the rooms indicated that rooms were soundproof. However that was not the case.
Inform guests ahead of time that the generator is not used after 22:00 during loadshedding and provide alternative lighting e.g. Magneto lights.

Good location with ample secure parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant small dining room. The service felt very personal.
No recommendations. It's a friendly little hotel that does its job.

would have been nice if the bar had of remained open until 22:00. we arrived at 20:30 more or less and a beer would have been good.

Was a really nice setting. The place is really pretty. Room is comfortable as well. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful and made the check in a breeze.
We phoned in advance to request if we could sit in their restaurant the following day and work remotely, as we were driving from Cape Town and stopping there for the night. They agreed telephonically and said it was no issue.
Come 12 o'clock the next day, the manager basically kicks us out of the restaurant (we were checked out at 07:00 already), as no one arranged with her (even though we phoned ahead). Was really rude about it, and then shifted blame onto her own staff as to why she doesn't know.
We specifically booked with them (even though they are way more expensive) so that we could work in their restaurant the following day. Really over priced for the rudeness of the manager.

the insects at night around the eating area can be controlled/managed as it becomes difficult to enjoy your supper

Dinner was awful. We battled to get a glass of wine.

The single rooms the beds are way small like its single bed, its like for kids but we are paying a lot of money. That should be looked unto.

I thought it was really picturesque, staff were lovely and it was a great process to book food and check in was easy.
I thought the duvet was a bit thin, to be honest, and the bathroom needs some love. Slightly nicer towels may make a difference

I liked the location
The decor eg curtains and furniture are very outdated. They have double beds which are too small. 4star rated accommodation should at least have queen size beds. Very expensive and breakfast not even included. Don't find that it was value for money. Shower leaked and hot water tap was not fully operational.
