clean newly decorated appartment, very close to St Bavo cathedral (at the border of the historical centre); parking garage nearby; night shop and restaurants nearby . good value for money.
we did not get the entry code before arrival and the host was a bit difficult to reach. I believe this was a one-off incident. The host was really nice, and a decent reason why it went wrong a bit. Just make sure that you have the entry code before you travel to Gent and you will be fine.

Perfect location, fantastic apartment, clean and spacious. Hosts where fantastic and all the apartment was decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch 🎄❤️ Also has the comfiest bed!

Excellent location; roomy accommodation
We had a few issues when we stayed at this property. The owner had changed and the new owner did not update the contact details. The given phone number was out of service. It took us an hour to get into the property because no-one was there and when we finally managed to get in touch with the additional contact, she didn't know what the door code was. Luckily she had the new owner's number. The new owner should have sent the door code to us by email with his correct contact number. There were also too many broken,dirty or missing things in the property, which I listed for the new owner. He said that previous visitors damaged the property and because he, the new owner, has just bought the place he doesn't have enough money to repair things. I sent him a second email saying fixing some things (lights not working, broken handle on wardrobe, broken door on freezer) should be possible as normal wear and tear, and that some vital kitchen equipment like oven trays were not there, making use of the oven for cooking impossible. He answered my second message in a foreign language and refused to translate it. After some fiddling around with google translate, I discovered it was in Turkish and that the gist of his message was that if I didn't like the flat, I should go to a five star hotel. I copied the correspondence to booking.com, but have not heard anything from them.

it was a good size apartment. Everything fine.
There were coffee stains on the floor in the livingroom. Rest of the place was clean, though. Only 2 TV channels…

The best thing about this apartment is the location. It is in a lovely street and about 8 mins walk to St Michael's bridge in my opinion the best view of Ghent, and St Nicholas Church and all those good things about ovely Ghent. The Devil's Castle next door and parking at Reep super easy and not too expensive (about 15 euro for 24 hours) Lovely Street. It has good space and on paper the three beds and kitchen that I needed.
No credit card machine working so had to pay cash. Was asked to stop stop at cash point several hours in advance to find cash (while on German autobahn). No directions so had to phone owner. Asked again for cash immediate on arrival and overcharged (innocent error I am sure which was resolved). Main issue was not enough bedding for three and my fault as I did not have strength to ask again. Flat lay out is odd. One bedroom connects to shower room and you have to go through main room to get to toilet (with very squeaky door handle). Wifi hit and miss. I did not sleep at all as plagued by mosquito. I am sure just one of those things. I am being grumpy and unfair, probably triggered by ULEZ charges for UK registered cars even though all models comply after certain date, and if you have V5 can you apply for permit free (so note to self). The location is great and my 18 year old twins thought the place was great. It does indeed have a flat screen.

very spacious and clean apartment in a great location
Pillows were bad, freezing when we arrived (heating had apparently been off for some time) and we were asked late at night by the host to leave cash for tourism tax (we don’t carry cash that often anymore)

Location was fine
Only one toilet, sleeps 6 but 4 are in the living room all together. No coffee. No mirror in toilet so makes it not helpful getting ready in morning.

Easy check-in. The apartment was fully equipped with a dishwasher and coffee machine. Bed and bed-sofas were conformable.
It was a bit cold at the beginning, but warm after switching on the heaters (two or three hours later). We only missed a microwave oven. The bathroom is small.
