The gardens, the skylight above the bed in the main bedroom. Also appreciated the air fryer in the kitchen and the washing machine in the European laundry.

Such a lovely setting. A modern newly built detached unit in the grounds of the owner’s property but not overlooked and giving total privacy. Exceptionally well equipped and furnished. lovely and quiet and very comfy

The picture on the internet doesn't do it justice. It's was much bigger than we thought. The accommodation was very modern and clean. It had all the mod-cons including cooker and washing machine. TV also had Netflix and thus, very good Wifi. Comfy bed (there are 2 bedrooms)and sofa. The location was pretty good and it's a very nice drive to the NP. It's also very quiet.

Lovely modern, spacious, clean cottage in beautiful surrounds. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly hosts. It would make a great base for exploring Mt Cook, and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate two couples.

Perfect stay! Easy check in, beautiful new house and exceptionally clean. We travelled around the south island for two weeks and this was hands down our favourite accommodation of the trip. The view outside is also incredible.

We loved our overnight stay here after a long day tramping at Mt Cook Village. Gorgeous modern cottage with everything you could need. Very cosy and warm. If in Twizel Mahina cottage is the place to stay.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable with lots of sunshine in peaceful garden surrounds. We loved being able to enjoy a quiet walk in the evening to the lake

Very clean , tidy and spacious with beautiful gardens
The TV was a wee bit small in the lounge and maybe a tv in bedroom 😉

Lovely, quiet wee piece of paradise. Beautifully finished inside and out. It really felt like a home away from home. It was cosy and warm in the evenings and there’s something very special about lying in bed and stargazing through the skylight.
The only downside was we were not able to stay longer but unfortunately normal life must be returned to.
