Tolle Atmosphäre und Ausstattung im Whiskystil. Tolle Lage direkt an der Grenze und direkt in der mähe der See und Konstanz.

Wir waren das 2. Mal in der Villa Taegermoos und es war wieder herrlich. Das Zimmer ist bestens ausgestattet, der Gastgeber ist sehr tierfreundlich, und um das Hotel herum ist ein großer, eingezäunter Garten, wo unsere Hunde ungefährdet herumgetollt sind. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
Die Küchenzeile ist sehr klein, es gibt nur zwei Kochplatten, aber immerhin gibt es eine Küchenzeile.

Position and old nice structure in the countryside
1) there were no fitted sheets in the bed.
2) room cleaning was never done despite the high cost per night.
3) there was no air conditioning.

In reachable distance by foot from Konstanz center.
The hotel nearby (same owner) offers a huge variety of whisky (especially scotch) for tasting, including some rare ones.
There is no mosquito net on the windows

The location was nice, only 100 meters from the German border. The bathroom was nice.
No breakfast was offered. Nor was there even any daily room cleaning or emptying of trash cans, etc. There is no lift so we had to climb two flights of stairs each time we went in or out. Furthermore we were issued only one room key so that meant a lot of extra stair climbing just to let my traveling companion in the door.

Beautiful room. Parking for motorbike outside, visible from the room, no charge. A hundred metres from the border so easy to stroll into Germany for a cheaper beer.
No catering available in the place or the nearby hotel. Room photos extremely well done to create an illusion of more space than there really is.

Room was quite, bed was excellent.
For a 7 night stay we have had once a cleaning. We didn't see any personnel asking if everything was okay or not.
We even had to go ask for toilet paper. For a 200 Euro a night you are better off in a hotel.

The location is excellent: just outside of Konstanz and yet in the rustic fields of Thurgau. Perfect for walkers, runners, cyclists, and anyone who wants a good base for day trips around. The accommodation is comfortable and the staff are super friendly. We had a great time and would be more than happy to return again.

We traveled during Coronavirus, therefore Breakfast was not available due to gov't restrictions. However, the owner kindly upgraded our room, which was fantastic. The hotel is in a perfect location! Every day we enjoyed a 7 minute walk to well equipped food and health market - Edeka. The room was beautifully equipped with a kitchen, dining area, large modern bathroom, heated floors, work desk. I highly recommend this hotel!
