Clean, great breakfast, super staff...lovely location!

Wanted at least ONE English language channel on T.V!

Location is great - beach is beautiful and the swimming pool is nice.

Location is great but the management is horrible. I'm leaving this because likely the owners have no idea what their staff is doing and want to help them improve. Minutes after arriving, I had to use the bathroom which was by the reception area. I could hear the receptionist talking to the girlfriend with me about how he has adventures with other girls with his wife, insinuating she could be interested. I confirmed with her later and she said it was inappropriate. Then they refused to clean the room. We had to get a broom and clean ourselves. They gave every excuse in the book why they couldn't do it. But we had to leave the pile of dirty towels and sand in the hallway, which they promptly cleaned but argued with us about cleaning the room :( There are other pousadas in same area, same beautiful beach and I wish I had stayed there.

Beautiful newer place on a fantastic beach. Very good bkfst with nice & wide variety of pastries & cakes along with fruits. Pool area is relaxing & has very tranquil feeling. Good value. Very friendly & attentive staff. Do recommend.

Can be noisy in hallways in the morning.

Breakfast was ok, however overall the food was terrible. My husband was sick for 3 days with stomach and intestinal issues due to a bad cheeseburger. The pool was dirty and was not cleaned daily. Unfortunately, those two items have a great impact on one's stay at a location. The service was good and the room was good, but we did have an issue with the air conditioner and it was not working for 2 days. We do not want to sound like complainers, however that was our experience. Thank you for your time and attention.

Maria Bonita is ok, above of what you can expect for a pousada in Brazil. We arrived here around 3 AM and the front desk was open ( that's a good one for a pousada). As far as I know there is no parking but the street is quiet enough to find a parking spot and leave the car. The room is spacious and comfortable. One double bed, one single, big closet, in room safe, free fast reliable WiFi, big desk and flat TV. Bathroom is modern and clean. There is a nice pool overlooking the beach and towels are offered for free. Breakfast is the traditional Brazilian buffet: fruit, bread, cheese, ham, cakes, yogurt, juice coffee, tea and milk.

The bedroom windows are small and facing the side of the property instead of the sea. The employees were not bad, but below the expected Brazilian friendliness. The night before leaving we began to feel terrible. Stomachache, muscle-ache and general discomfort. The next day, we paid extra to stay in the bedroom resting until 5 PM. While checking out we mentioned this to the lady at the front desk and she said that there was a GI (gastrointestinal) virus affecting many employees. Damn! if that was they should have warned guests about the situation!
