The location close to the tranquil beaches of Zaton. 15 min drive to Dubrovnik

Fabulous location and ideal for families. Extremely clean and very well equipped apartment which had absolutely everything we needed. Host was lovely too.

Just the perfect family getaway for us (two adults, two young kids). The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. The village is great if you want a quiet place with great beaches, restaurants and walks, but also near (by taxi/Uber) to the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik

The slanted roofs and lack of a separate lounge in the top apartment (six sleeper) can be a bit annoying - but the whole package more than makes up for that

I loved walking around the place. It is in a quiet, small village. Zaton beach is in 2 minutes walking distance. There are a small grocery, a fruit stand, and restaurants. I prefer staying here to Dubrovnik. The apartment is clean. There are two toilets and two showers. The beds were comfortable. Very reasonable price.

The apartment was small for us. There is no living room.

We (4 adults and 2 kids) stayed here for 2 nights on our Dalmatian roadtrip. Great place and I can truly recommend! And note: I always rate based on the value-for-money -factor - so make no mistake, this is not a luxury 7 star apartment but an excellent value for its cost. I would totally stay here again, no point in spending the big money on hotels at Dubrovnik (stay there only of you plan on exploring the city several days, in my opinion 3-8 hours is totally enough). First and foremost: the location is perfect. It is 15 minutes by car to Dubrovnik. Easy drive night or day. We used our own rental car and the host (Marijana?) was kind enough to give us tips on parking. The parking garage in Dubrovnik was very convenient, easy to drive to and we only stayed there for 3 hours, which was totally enough to use the cable car and walk through the old city and eat some icecream, perfect. Zaton itself was a cozy small town with few restaurants, a supermarket and a small beach. The place is off the main road so it was quiet. Second: we used the apartment for 6 upstairs, which was great! There were 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is small but it had all the basics and sits 6 people ok. The beds were comfortable and the apartment very clean. Airconditioning (separate machine for each room) works like a charm. Bathrooms are very new and thus very nice. There is also a nice little patio outside. Third: the hostess was very kind and welcoming, so you feel welcomed here. I feel so bad because we meant to leave her a tip to the room but we forgot (in Finland we do not have the tipping habit, so on vacations, it tends to be forgotten at first). Hadn't we been already at Drvenik when we remembered this, we would have driven back just for the tip! Our kids send regards to Dici the Dog! Great stay: thank you! Ps. a suggestion: if you drive to Kotor bay, it is possible in one day, but leave early. We were at the customs around 10 am and it took 1 hour 50 minutes in line.

There are decending ceilings in the upper apartment, so be aware. We have those also at home so we were ok, but to some people these might be something they are not used to.

Fantastic apartment. Aircondition in all rooms which was a must this summer. All necessities were there - and then some. Very friendly hosts. Luxury to have two bathrooms.
