4 gals that shared a suite at the University of Tennessee many moons ago became life long friends. We make it a priority to see each at least once a year and we selected San Antonio as our destination. The location was fantastic, great beds and den was perfect. With all the rain the doors were difficult to close but other than that the house was perfect! Tommy was quick with responses easy check in and out. Didn’t know about the cats around the house but we saw zero mice! With old houses you usually have some but not here! I would recommend

Location, Location, Location. We loved the house and location couldn't be much better. We will be back.

Most everything was as advertised. There were a couple of issues - light bulbs had to be replaced, the security alarm would not work on the STAY setting, one of the bathrooms literally was in the living room downstairs with all bedrooms upstairs, property badly in need of leaf removal from the yard. However, we had a great time and none of those things detracted from our overall stay. Historic home in a historic neighborhood with any easy walk to the Riverwalk.

Great location for a group attending a conference at the convention center. The house worked well, and it is certainly an older, quirky home that would benefit from some deep cleaning and updates compared to most VRBO's I have stayed at. Loved the cats :)

Perfect location as we wanted to walk to the River and also to Beethoven Hall for the Christmas fair.

This was the perfect spot for Five sisters to spend some time together. The property is very well maintained and in a great location for walking to most of the main attractions in San Antonio. The neighborhood has many wonderful restaurants.
Tommy was very accommodating and welcoming with basic food supplies awaiting our arrival.

We absolutely LOVED our visit to this very special home!! We were located within walking distance or a short 5 minute drive to everything we wanted to attend! The house itself was magnificent. Seeing the beautiful architecture and layout surpassed my expectation! Comfortable beds and space for everyone to either play games in the living room, hang out in their rooms to relax or sit out on the front porch or back patio enjoying a summer breeze. Communication with the owner was perfect, they were always available if we needed anything or had any questions! Would highly recommend staying here and would definitely love to stay here again!! Thank you Tommy for your hospitality! It was perfection!

Great location with walkable access to Riverwalk and Alamo! Host was communicative and provided eggs/bread for the stay. Minor issues with cleanliness - there were towels still hanging on doorknobs, dishes still in the dishwasher, and the yard was very overgrown. Would recommend better/more furniture in the living room to accommodate all guests. Nothing major for us and I would stay here again in the future.

Charming house close to everything. The weather didn’t cooperate but it would have been walking distance to the tower, river walk, etc.

Gorgeous character house with good size bedrooms in an excellent location. We had a wonderful stay.

House was in a perfect spot for walking to everything. We didn’t realize it was Fiesta which was a fun surprise. Based on reviews we read there could be noise…. I thought it was very quite especially since it was fiesta.

We had a great experience at Casa Linda. The property manager was very communicative, the house is charming and had plenty of space for us. The location was great, walking distance from everything! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
The only things that differed from the listing- the cable did not work, and there were no food items in the fridge (the milk/eggs/bread etc that were in the listing). We ordered groceries from instacart for our stay, so it was ok, but had we known, we would have planned ahead for that.
Overall we had a great time and will definitely stay here next time we are in San Antonio.

The host was incredibly helpful, friendly, and communicative. We had just one night here, but I would easily stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a convenient and well located stay in San Antonio. I hope we’re able to return someday :)

We were able to get an early check in which was perfect because i had an early flight. The house had lots of charm and we all enjoyed having the extra space. We walked to several restaurants that were very close. There is a Puerta Rican on just around the corner that has the best food. Great location and close to everything. You wont be disappointed and the host is very helpful.I would stay here again for sure.

We stayed at this home for a long weekend for a cheer competition. There 2 adults and 4 teens and the house was perfect. Very close to downtown, 5 min drive or less to everything and we felt safe. All bedrooms are upstairs with one full bath up and one full bath down. It is an older home but they have kept it up very nicely and labeled things like hard to find light switches making it so easy to find things. We would definitely stay here again.

This home had a lot of charm. Additionally, owner was kind enough to have a gallon of milk, bread, fruit, and some other groceries available for us. Definitely would stay here again.

This property is in a great location. Lots of good restaurants near by. The neighborhood felt safe, even walking back late in the evening. Stayed with 4 couples in the house and every couple got their own room. I would definitely stay again.

Property was great for our needs 6 woman celebrating birthday and just the love of family being together. Great location to any where in the San Antonio area. We walked to the river walk.
Was very well equipped with every thing you need. It is a older property that needs a little tlc but has so much charm. Owner was easy to deal with. Would recommend and come back.

We really enjoyed the stay at the house. If you like houses with character and don't want to stay in a cramped condo or hotel, this is the way to go. The family got to spread out, we were close to activities downtown and good restaurants nearby. I wish we could have stayed longer and would stay there again. Amenities were exactly as listed.

We are four 60-something women, visiting San Antonio for a girls' trip. This house worked out well for our needs. Plenty of room, easy walking distance to the Riverwalk, Alamo, downtown and a couple of the hop on/hop off bus stops. We went out for most of our meals, but the kitchen seemed to have everything you'd need to prepare and serve, and there's even a grill on the back deck.
The weather was quite warm when we arrived, but turned rather chilly the third day/night, so we were happy that the furnaces worked well and thermostats were easy to operate.
Neighborhood is fairly quiet, but as another reviewer has mentioned, there were some loud cars racing down the street on occasion. Also, for you light sleepers, the train can be heard at night - this was an issue for me, but not for any of the others. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
Host was very communicative and gave us lots of suggestions for shopping and dining both nearby and downtown.
Lastly, this is a historic house. It is old. It has been fixed up but there are many layers of paint and other quirks that you find in old houses. If you prefer new and sterile, this isn't the right choice for you. House was clean, but sometimes old and worn looks dirty.

The property was well suited for our family of 8. We had plenty of space to spread out and not feel as if we were on top of each other. The house is in a perfect spot for ease of walking to restaurants, the Riverwalk, bars, and coffee shops. The house has historic charm and reminded me of my grandparents home.
