what a fabulous place. comfort itself, peaceful, beautifully decorated, the best night sleep ever on a very comfortable bed. we were only there for a stopover unfortunately , we would have loved to stay longer and use the swimming pool. breakfast was superb with home made jam. pastries yoghurt and fruit. no hesitation. in recommending
nothing to dislike as wonderful but we were glad to arrive before sunset as accessed along windy roads

The Host Nathalie does a superb job together with Deborah. The social evening is not to be missed as it allowed us to meet and socialise with other guests.

Stunning house, gardens and views of the rolling hills. The interior decor is beautiful. We were made to feel very welcome by Nathalie who recommended places for us to visit and eat.

Lovely property, beautiful, comfy room & lovely big bathroom. Really good stay in a traditional French Stone house which has all the character you could want. Really nice ornaments & art everywhere. Breakfast was lovely. The property owner ensures that you have everything you need & recommended & booked local restaurants for us. The room was really comfortable, peaceful & quiet. Fantastic location overlooking rolling hills. Perfect stay thank you!

This is a wonderful property in a fabulous countryside location, it really is. We enjoyed the space in the suite which has two large rooms with a door to a separate and quite private outdoor patio. The house decor is a visual feast and all very stimulating. There is certainly enough to make you want to know more about some of the art and items on display. But this wasn't really forthcoming. The owner, who apparently ran a gallery in Paris, did not elaborate much. Nevertheless she clearly feels the need to display all of the art, sculptures, furniture and collectibles she has gathered over the years. What is a little disappointing however is when you find that three of the chairs in your room are really uncomfortable to sit on becuase they are essentuially broken. But then perhaps you're not meant to sit on anything when it's been set up to be very much like a stage set. And that's really the biggest disappointment. Having wonderful art and the ability to decorate a lovely house creatively is one thing, but combining that with real comfort and practical ease of use is another all together. I've travelled widely, lived and worked internationally in many countries but never booked into a room where broken furniture was being used as a feature. It makes the visit all the more memorable I guess. But don't be put off, it's a fabulous house and a true visual feast.

Beautifully furnished, Nathalie has a wonderful eye for art and antiques and has designed this stunning house magnificently with cool chic shades of grey, beautiful works of art and furniture. A fantastic breakfast each morning on the terrace and a very refreshing swimming pool with loungers and parasols.
The house really is a stunning property with unrivalled views. The perfect place to check out. Would have loved to have had a drink or bite to eat at the house instead of going into the village - but Natalie was so helpful in booking a table at a restaurant 10 minutes drive away.

A very nice location on a ridge overlooking a beautiful valley not far from a medieval village and close enough to Villeneuve-sur-Lot to access all amenities. A lovely host, with a historic place and the breakfast was excellent with a different local cheese every morning. Highly recommended as a base to explore the medieval bastides and pretty villages nearby. A lovely dog as well!

The bedroom was great the fire always lit and we loved our breakfast and wine by the fire
The house and views were also amazing
The only downside was no restaurant but the hostess helped us enormously to find lovely restaurants and provide us with all the necessary

The view was beautiful, the bed was good and the pool was great. Penne d’agenais is a nice village to visit.
There was little attention from the owner to the guests at your arrival nor during your stay. no information about breakfast time, use of the swimming pool or touristic information. You didn’t feel welcome at all.
