Location and cost were the biggest advantages for us as we just stopped for a single night sleep over and it wasn't far off our route.

The property has a certain feel to it (as it's been built in 1600 !!) but I can see it not being to everybody's taste. Cleanliness could also be a bit better, but nothing major - it's okay for the money.

Excellent location, very comfortable, and a sense of old German style refinement. A lot of history in that place, and you feel every minute of it!

Parking was an issue. Understandable, because it's in the center of the old town, but you cannot always find a spot.

A spacious fascinating old building the newer part was 17th century. Wish we had more time to have listened to Hans talk about it.

I'm afraid we failed miserably to connect to the WiFi but that may be down to us.

Price. Garden. especially kids enjoyed spending time. Beautiful historical interior, and host was very kind of explaining about the building. large space. (3 rooms)

Clean, great location and roomy.

No toilet paper, a few classic landlord specials like shoddy electrical sockets etc but for the price it is fine.

This charming, rustic old house is located in the historical center of Arnsberg. It is simple but includes all the basic necessities to make you feel at home, while traveling. The owner was very friendly. He shared with me some important historical dates and facts about the city's history and some nearby monuments. At walking distance you find restaurants, the famous "Cheers" Pub and Bar, the old castle ruins, and many other attractions. At a short drive, the foodies will satisfy their palate while enjoying delicious gourmet dinner at Restaurant "Menge." Furthermore, a taste bud delights are the fine pastry from Café Konditorei "Krengel." For the Tapas lover's, El Toro Restaurant is a good alternative. The location is ideal for walking, hiking, or driving. The interstate is about 10 mins drive from the property. Next time I visit Arnsberg, I will stay here again.
