This house is exactly as advertised. It was close for our small hike at Black Cap Mountain, near downtown and other tourist attractions, but still tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Ideal for any large group!

This was a great location with plenty of space for our three young families (11 mo - 8 yo). We appreciated the AC in the unit that cooled the downstairs and some of the upstairs bedrooms and the screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and kid playtime.
Some of the areas in the house were poorly maintained (none of the bath tubs would plug up for tubby time - disappointing with 4/6 kids taking tubs) and when I pulled the shower switch up on one tub the faucet slide in and out of the wall! There were lots of supplies in the kitchen, however some drawers were falling apart and finding what we needed in drawers, cabinets was difficult at times.
The seating for meals and hanging out was perfect for our crew and the location to our activities was perfect. We used the grill both nights.
Lastly, having to check out at 10am and being asked to wash all towels BEFORE checking out was impossible with 6 children. We were able to get one load started but the dryer is old and did not dry quick enough to get another load through.

Stayed here to go to Story Land for my son's 4th birthday. The location was perfect and the screened in deck was an added bonus, perfect for dinners and breakfast. There's enough chairs for everyone and plenty of space to spread out. It was clean and well stocked.

The house is as described. It was a ski vacation for us and friends. We were a group of adults and teenagers. Good location, easy access to downtown North Conway or the mountains and sensible for feeding a large group. Kitchen is an open area and spacious for several cooks in the kitchen without getting in each other’s way. The entrance area is great for storing ski boots, bags, coats. Host was very responsive. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful location and the home is exceptionally clean! Great size house for a large group. Note that kitchen is not well appointed so cooking for a large group is not ideal. Frig is small and shelf broken / which we fixed utilizing tape. Updates & organization in kitchen might help overall. Gathering in living room for large group not as comfy as desired due to small couches. Beds are not comfortable, plastic liners are so noisy and sheets come right off while sleeping and unfortunately we were only provided one small bath towel per person and one hand towel per bathroom. No addt'l linens provided and not all beds are made upon arrival / sheets at bottom of bed. Would advise bringing your own linens- towels and blankets. Pro's- Outside fire pit area very nice and screened in porch is lovely! having a pool table is also a nice option but space around pool table not suited for large group. Overall good option if multiple bedrooms needed without comfy hang out space and or desire for updated environment. Also, have never ever been asked to start laundry before leaving and this was messaged in several areas as well as being asked to tip the cleaner, (which should be covered through fees and owner). We usually do start laundry but it has never been suggested that we do so. Just felt uncomfortable.

We travel the same weekend every year for our Fantasy Football draft. Plenty of room for 10 adults to sleep, hanging out on the 3 season porch to avoid the thunderstorms, and in the backyard and around the fire pit.
Internet could accommodate us all.
Pool table was an extra bonus.
Great location for 2-3 golf courses and restaurants.
Would definitely book again.

The house is much nicer than it looks in the pictures! We had a group of 10 adults and there was room for us all to spread out, but also for us all to sit at the dining table together, hang out on the sun porch and for everyone to have a chair at the fire pit. It was over 90’ and the ac kept us cool. The manager was very quick to answer my questions when I was booking the house. We would definitely stay here again.

This was my first VRBO experience. It all went as I expected. The property details were exactly as described, which was perfect for the nine of us traveling together.
We were asked to remove all bedding before we left, which was already outlined. But the owner asked that we wash all towels before we left. Not a bug deal but there is a cleaning fee that is attached to our rate so was a bit confused by that.
All in all, we would stay here again. It is very peaceful.

We enjoyed the property as part of a grandparents and cousins reunion and the space was just perfect! Great separation for families with enough room for everyone to eat and relax together. Very clean, well-stocked and functioning kitchen, lovely screened in porch. Some clarifications from the listing. There is at least one full bath on every floor. Second floor has kingaster with bath, then two bunk rooms that share a hall bath. First floor has queen room with hall bath and basement has a room with three twins and a room with a queen that share a bath. When I read the listing it wasn't clear that the queen bed had it's own room-- it does. There are multiple tvs throughout the house and Netflix and Amazon video built in to the family room tv. Just overall a great spot!

Great location for hiking and shopping. House is roomy and comfortable. Only suggestion is to better equip the kitchen, we generally cooked breakfast and dinner.

We have rented this home for the last two seasons and could not be happier. Whether we were up there as a family of 4 or as a group of 15, this property was great. Plenty of space to sleep a large group including a fun game space in the basement for the kids. A nice kitchen and family space with electric fireplace. Store your skis or bikes in the beautiful mud room to keep the clutter down. A new screened in porch off the back that in the right weather would be a great place to relax. The landlords were helpful and great to work with. We are already looking forward to renting again for next ski season!

The house was in a perfect location,plenty of room for my family. There are no negatives at all. The only thing I would add to the house is a few extra pans to make a big dinner, a sauce or chili. Thank you for sharing your amazing home.

I would like to thank our host Kerri Mcauley for providing a great place at a great price for my family to stay at during our recent visit to Mount Washington.
The house was very roomy, comfortable, clean & inviting. And Kerri was accomodating and a pleasure to deal with. I was also very impressed by everything that I found out about Kerri, before booking, through online searches and social media.
I should mention that I was a bit nervous about setting up a rental home for my family (of 15 people), weekend trip to Mount Washington
This was my first, ever, attempt to rent from any organization or individual, and was not familiar with the three organizations that dominate Google Search ( Homeaway, VRBO, AIRBNB ), or any real estate or other agencies (of which access to is well hidden behind the dominant three). And my first three attempts to secure a place through those sites, sadly failed.
Then, I fortunately tripped over Kerri McCauley, and was able secure the HONEY HOUSE using the AirBnB site, though Kerri is able to contract directly though her own agency (and some third party expenses can be saved).
Like I said, the house was great. And working with Kerri was great!
I highly recommend finding and talking to Kerri McCaulley if you are ever planning to stay in, or near the Mount Washington area in New Hampshire.

We had a group of 16 - 8 kids and eight adults – and everyone absolutely enjoyed our stay at this house! Everything is fairly recent and updated, beds were comfortable and it was in a fantastic location. Absolutely beautiful screened in back porch made it even better than any house we’ve ever stayed at....And our group has stayed at a few houses in that area. The only (small) issue we had was that we couldn’t figure out air conditioning, and the rooms became really warm at night. They were tolerable, but if it was much warmer the weekend we stayed we probably would’ve had to call the owner to figure it out. Other than that tiny little thing, it was an excellent place to stay and I highly recommend it

The home is located in close proximity to all the main activities in the North Conway area. It has plenty of sleeping options and all the basic necessities for a comfortable stay.

When we arrived we had to shovel snow off the walk to get in house. The deck wasn’t shoveled off couldn’t to the grill. The main problem was the heat. With only one thermostat on the main floor it was hard to regulate. The beds rooms on the top floor were to hot had to sleep with widows open all night, while the bedrooms in the basement were freezing. It’s an easy fix add a zone to the heating system

The house and location were great. Some of the bathrooms could use some updating, however the mud room on the front was a great touch and very inviting. Great place for a family photo. Kerri was a pleasure to deal with as well. We would definitely rent this property again.

We used the house for our annual extended family Saco River trip this year, and the house was fantastic for our very large group of 16. There was plenty of space inside and out for everyone, whether we were sitting and watching a movie in the living room, eating, hanging around the fireplace, or playing cornhole in the back yard. Our group was two families plus friends, with 12 of the 16 being young adults aged 17 to 26, and even with all adults, we had plenty of space in the house.
The house is in a fantastic location, close to all the attractions in the area (and off a road that connects directly to the North-South Road, so you can bypass the insanity of downtown North Conway traffic if you want to). It's less than half a mile to the closest stores (including a beer store, ice cream shop, and a couple restaurants), maybe a mile to a great Saco River swimming spot on River St. off route 16, and maybe 4 miles to Hannaford and Walmart for shopping. For those with younger kids, it's only a few minutes from Storyland.
To top it off, not only was the house great, but the property manager, Kerri, was also fantastic. She was very communicative, and right on point making sure we had all the information we needed when we needed it. She made the process of renting the house easy, and was super nice to boot. All in all, a great experience.
