We spent 5 days at this rental, we LOVED it. I have rented several different houses in Key West with private pools (its the only way to go) the Lady Admiral was my favorite house. We also loved the pool, however it is not as private as other rentals, it is a great pool and the waterfall does drown out the neighbors and it also allows them to not hear your entire conversation either. I will rent this property again.

We stayed at The Lady Admiral for a girls weekend. The house was cute and clean. It had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and patio! The house is close to shops and restaurants. Melanie, the property manager was very responsive.

We loved Lady Admiral! The home is so thoughtfully decorated and really made us feel like we were living the Key West life! The beds were comfortable and there was enough space for all. The backyard is great, pool is roomy and perfectly refreshing after a long hot day in the Florida sun. We hope to stay again! The property manager was so accommodating and thoughtful as well.

Cute place right off Duval. Quick walk to Southernmost Point and 2 blocks away from free Duval Loop bus stop. Easy parking, quiet, and safe. Everything you need for a stay is there and the pool is an adequate size for 7 people. Internet works great.

This sweet cottage on a quiet little street on the quiet end of the island is a perfect spot. An easy walk to restaurants, shops and beach. The cottage is spotless and very well equipped. The extra bedroom and bath is perfect for families and very private. Great outdoor space with pool and space for grilling/dining.This is a great find in a great safe neighborhood. As a bonus, the management is excellent. They offered good information about the property and were always available for any questions. I would recommend this property for a stay in Key West Live like a local!!

We stayed here with 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids). The space is not really meant for this even though it says it sleeps 8. There is large furniture everywhere so there is very little room for bags and other things that families with kids bring. I would absolutely stay here with 3 couples, or 1 family, but not with the 2 family setup we had.As far as the condition, things appeared good, but we did have a few issues. The dryer did not work, but management was quick to respond and actually did the laundry for us as a repairman came the day of our checkout. Stuff happens, and at least they had an immediate solution that worked.The other issue was the pool. There were iguanas all over the yard, which is fine and expected in Key West, but they kept popping in the pool from the trees above. Having a pool and being familiar with pool chemistry, I bought a kit and checked the levels. There was absolutely no chlorine and the PH was off the charts low. I bought the chemicals and balanced things out, but it was slightly annoying. Again, stuff happens and poop will definitely throw chemical balances out of whack, but I feel like a pool guy should come more often if that’s an ongoing issue.Other than that, the place and location is great. Just a few blocks to southernmost point and walking distance to Duval, convenience store, coffee, etc. Also enough space for 2 cars, though you should just rent golf carts like we did.

Extremely disappointing property! Outdated and worn furnishings throughout. Decor covered in dust. Floors and cabinets need repaired…chunks of missing grout, peeling paint, etc. Lights in main bathroom did not work properly and flickered when in use. Main door in/out of home was very difficult to enter/exit. Termites were discovered in the kitchen by Orkin on day 2 of our stay. Noisy neighbors kept us up at night (actual residents, not just guests). Overall, a very unpleasant experience!

The stove malfunctioned during our stay, when i texted the property manager, she said it was a sign not to cook on vacation, for 13k I would expect everythingn to work properly. My son in law also had to get on a ladder and figure out the fan and light and how it worked. it was also extremely expensive for how cheap it was inside. Cheap fixtures, my daughter cut her finger on the peeling kitchen trim. I would expect more for 13K. I would not stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our time here. We had three couples in town for the Mile 0 Fest and this was a perfect place for us. The location was great, quick walk or golf cart ride to anywhere we wanted to be. The pool was perfect for an afternoon cool off. Hosts were great to work with. (the only thing I didn't love were the pillows in the guest house bed, way too firm)

The location is great. It is steps from Duval street although it is at the far end from Mallory Square and much of the nightlife. About 1 mile (20-30 min ) walk to the other end of Duval St. We rented bikes and it was worth it. There is a bike shop (Fury) one street up on Catherine St.
Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
Pool is warm and a good size. The bedrooms were on the small size but were sufficient. The bed in the "king" bedroom in the house has an older mattress that was a bit uncomfortable but the other 2 beds were very good. Storage space in bedrooms was a bit limited but plenty of room in living room and kitchen. Was clean and well kept. Only problems were sinks in bathrooms tended to back up a little and the garbage can/recycle bin rollers are extremely difficult to move in and out.
Overall, it was a good place to stay and we would recommend it. We had 3 couples stay and it worked well for us and we loved the back deck for happy hours in the pool before dinner and cards after dinner and drinks.

We stayed here for 5 days with our two adult daughters. Perfect amount of common area and didn't feel crowded. Pool and patio were our main hangout area.
It would have been nice if the rooms didn't have some of the "unnecessary" furniture, such as bookshelves. Dressers for clothes would have been nice. We were pretty cramped in the pool bedroom.
We had issues with the house keys but learned how to properly "jigger" it to make it work.
Couldn't beat the location...right off Duval!

The Lady Admiral is the perfect tropical retreat for a Key West Island getaway.
We reserved this beautiful, clean and cozy house to renew our vows for our 25th anniversary in the Keys. There was plenty of room for my wife and I, son , daughter-in-law and 2 teenage granddaughters.
The concierge service was outstanding having helped us find an officiant for our vow renewal ceremony. They reserved a table for us at Latitudes on Sunset Key. Also, secured a 6 passenger gas golf cart for our stay. Our property manager Melanie was extremely helpful, friendly and available should the need arise.
We simply loved our late night swimming in the gorgeous pool. We enjoyed outstanding dining throughout Key West. The location is perfect being just steps away from the Southernmost Point and all the action on Duval.
We highly recommend the Lady Admiral and don’t forget to enjoy a wonderful breakfast at the Banana Cafe.

I highly recommend this property! Check-in was easy. The property manager was very responsive. The property was in an excellent location! We were half a block from Duval Street. We walked most places. If we got tired, we were able to get an Uber very easily at a good rate.
We traveled with our adult children. Our oldest has a 7 month old baby. They stayed in the pool house & had their privacy (king size bed & full bath). Perfect for someone with a small child. We enjoyed the pool every night after exploring during the day.
If you need to rent any equipment for a young child, I highly recommend The Hip Tourist. They delivered & picked up the items we rented (a booster seat, pack-n-play, & exersaucer). This was huge as we flew into Key West.

We visited Key West to renew our vows after 20 years of marriage. We wanted to stay in a place that offered privacy, space, a pool, and walking distance from the action. This property simply cannot be beat! Located right near Duval, this house offered walking distance to everything we were after....cafes, restaurants, shopping, bars, and the southernmost point.
Upon arrival, the house was in IMMACULATE condition. Property managers were easy to contact and responsive. Everything you could need is included, from towels for the pool to your own washer dryer. The outdoor space is comfortable and private and we spent ample time just hanging out by the pool. My wife and I stayed in the guest house (aka the honeymoon suite haha!) and having that extra space and level of privacy was just perfect for our week. We are already wanting to plan a trip back and if we do, we will hopefully be staying here again!

Did I say relax ? Great location. Walking distance to galleries, shops, restaurants, and water sports. Quiet neighborhood. The house and the "mother in law" cottage were ideal. But the pool had more to offer than we could imagine. The water was so comfortable. Pool floats provided lasting hours of floating only to be surpassed by sitting on the deck with friends enjoying drinks and a smorgasbord of good food.

What a wonderful Key West getaway we had at the lovely Lady Admiral! Our stay was so much fun and the location cannot be beat being right off from Duval and just a stones throw from the craziness. The pool was a daily delight and we just loved the decor of this beautiful place. The appliances were perfect, the house was well appointed and the property manager was so helpful and very prompt when we needed anything. Perfection!
I had back surgery a few years ago, and because of this it can make me like the princess and the pea when it comes to finding a comfy mattress when we go away. I found the bed a little firm for my liking, but everyone else slept like logs. Brilliant time, thank you for having us!
